We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was large, with a cute balcony, huge comfy bed. Good location. Free coffee. Didn't mind that there was no staff.

GreeceDue to a problem with the bathroom sink, I was immediately moved to another room. Unfortunately, there was a continous buzz in the 2nd room, which was quite difficult to endure.
Excellent location, nice breakfast at a close-by hotel, very comfortable bed and spacious room. The Nespesso coffee machine and the vintage radio in the room were a very nice touch.

Netherlands- Very poor lighting in the bedroom. It's hard to see at night (or even in the morning during winter). It felt very gloomy instead of cozy. I took a photo but even my phone adjusted the brightness, so the gloominess is not so obvious. At least the lights in the bathroom were good. - Carpet floor wasn't very clean. There are stains, and I stepped on something wet when we arrived. - Bathroom will get "flooded" quickly when showering because there is no shower door/curtain. So water splashes outside the shower area very easily.
