Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI honestly have no complaints!
Christine and Lien were both so friendly and helpful and clearly loved what they do. They were able to advise us on where to eat and the facilities were immaculate. Easily the cleanest hotel/BnB I've stayed in.

United StatesStaying at Odit was one of the best parts of my trip to Bruges. The room was comfortable, clean, and stocked with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The hosts were so kind, warm, and attentive. The hotel was located within walking distance of the city center and the local bus was easy to navigate to get to and from the train station. I would absolutely stay here again if visiting Bruges!

United KingdomThe building is a renovated older property, so you hear a lot of footsteps and movement in the night from the ceiling above.
Very good stay at Odit, a 15 minute walk from the main centre, in a quiet neighbourhood. Very friendly hosts, very warm and welcoming, providing good information about the City and places of interest. The building is immaculate, our room was very well designed and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Odit and would stay again in future.

GreeceI do not think that I can make any remarks on their hospitality. Even if one found any inconvinient circumstances, the eagerness of Lien and Christine would come up with a solution.
Very well situated, realy close to the historic center and very convenient if you travel with a car. The hostesses Lien and Christine are extremely kind, helpful, with a smile on their faces, eager to give you any advice and assist you whenever they can. Glad we have met you.

AustraliaThe stairs are narrow and steep so it could be difficult to carry luggage up/down if you have limited mobility/strength.
The location whilst a little walk into the centre of Bruges was good. Quiet location. Not too far to buses to travel to/from the train station. Both Christine & Lian were helpful.

United KingdomLovely breakfast, very thoughtful preparation. Might want to be more relaxed about service both for host and guests.
Light and airy room with ensuite in a quiet and safe location. Attention to detail, clean and comfy. Parking on street for four hours with a parking card purchased from a garage. Would need to move for longer but plenty of affordable parking in Bruges.

United KingdomVery minor cons such as we were on the first floor and we could hear the floorboards and the shower in the room above. Parking also, we had to park the car 10 minute walk away. Car park itself was modern and secure though and is just off the road walking into the centre so easy enough to check on. If you are planning on staying in Bruges but travelling out in the car throughout the day it is not too much of an issue as parking is free outside on the street from 6pm- 9am and you get 4 hours free with the blue international parking disk so definitely worth purchasing if you are using the car. Like I said very minor issues and would not stop us from recommending because the pros definitely outweigh!
The room was exceptionally clean with a modern finish and a very good size. The bathroom again was cleaned to a high standard with a spare set of towels already in the bathroom so they were there when needed and did not have to be requested. The bed was huge and very comfy, so easy to feel like we were at home. The hosts were lovely, offered us a map and events of what is happening in Bruges and ensured to let us know what rooms they were staying in if we needed them or to contact them through this app. We were quite independent and the hosts left us to it but I know they would be there to help with anything if we requested.

IrelandOur host, Christine, was fantastic. Each morning she served a 4-course breakfast, which changed on a daily basis. The food was delicious, sourced from local producers, and set us up perfectly for the day ahead. The room was really clean and comfortable. The shower was also great - powerful and hot. Couldn't recommend more.

Wonderfully renovated house with stylish finishings. Nicely off the main centre so it's nice and calm for a good night's sleep. Everything is walkable in Bruges, so a great base to explore the UNESCO town centre and even to visit Damma on foot.
