When we arrived our room was very cold. There was an efficient heater but even so, on an exceptionally cold night, it took a long while to warm the room up. We were the only people staying in the hotel so it wouldn't have cost them a lot of money to warm the room before we arrived. The room itself was clean and reasonably comfortable but quite spartan . A wooden floor with no rugs, for example. There were no cushions or welcoming touches. I thought there was no artwork on the walls then spotted a small picture behind the television.

Friendly, helpful staff and we were warmly welcomed. Lots of free parking. Excellent breakfast and a very good dinner, both cooked to order. Good choice of reasonably priced bottles of wine . Public areas were nice and warm . Lovely bathroom with great shower and toiletries provided. Comfortable, large bed. A utilitarian room which was fine for one night. The grounds were really lovely and in the summer it must be a fantastic location.

It’s located in a quiet and attractive location. The staff were very friendly and the Friday night we stayed the food we ordered from the al la carte menu was excellent.

Nothing much the room was basic but we were there for less than 24 hours. The reception staff on our arrival were very friendly and efficient. The service at dinner was great as well. They allowed us to take our breakfast before their official time at 07.15 to accommodate our ferry departure.

A superb breakfast buffet with an amazing array of breads and pastries. Situated within its own substantial grounds within a village setting. A wonderful dinner with perfect food to conclude our holiday

There was a fountain (see photo above) which kept my partner awake all night. We could not close the window as it was so hot and stuffy (it was late summer). There was only one item for each course available for supper; fortunately each course was something we both liked. We felt that it was expensive at EUR 30 per head, given the complete absence of choice. One might do better to eat elsewhere, and I wish we had tried.

This hotel is clean and fairly comfortable. Supper (though only one option available) was of good quality. Breakfast was also of reasonable quality. Lo is a charming village and the hotel is well situated near the centre.

Quite a large hotel.
