Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Directly in the center of Brussels. In a walking distance from train (express connection to BRU airport). Clean and cozy rooms. Safe building access via card. Helpful staff.

FranceEarly check in, in your dreams. The personnel is not welcoming, very much lack warmth and smile. I was with my 6 yo kid and came back/called back several times to request an early checkin which I understand is not always possible but the guy at the reception didn't bother to check once before answering no. Did not even try to be helpful somehow. Just a plain and simple no. A small but meaningful gesture would be to propose a 15' or 30' earlier checkin (3 PM as per the hotel rules) but the guy just did not care. Rooms are far from being spotless. Walls were dirty. Some strange spots in the toilets, on the furniture. The coffee machine inside the room did not work. I let reception know. In a 2 nights/3 days stay, they did not bother to replace it either. So I had to take my coffee elsewhere. Last but not least, I called reception because there was no iron in my room. They asked me to come and get it myself. As I couldn't, they nicely sent me someone to get it to me. The small ironing board was disgusting (cf photos). After a few min I returned the iron & the board. Next day, after calling reception, I've been advised that no iron was available at that time. Deal with it.
Very well located. 50 m away for a major station with buses, tramways & subway lines.

NetherlandsIt was such a pleasure to stay at your hotel. All the staff were welcoming, which made my stay relaxed and comfy. Although the hotel seemed business-oriented, it was surprisingly accommodating for a casual traveler, and I’m sure it is a great place for a family, too. I hope to stay at Progress Hotel next time I visit Brussels!

GermanyMainly we didn't like the beds and the bathroom. They were a thorn in our side. Mainly we didn't like the beds and the bathroom. They were a thorn in our side.
The walls of the rooms were thin and you could hear the neighbours. Privacy was therefore not a given. The worst thing were the beds. We had a queen size bed, but the mattress springs gave way and we really sank into it. So there was no romantic atmosphere. My partner got up the next day with back pain and complained of tension all the way to her head. The bathroom was small and cramped. The shower had an old shower curtain. I was worried that there would be fungus on it, but unfortunately there was blood. Someone had forgotten to clean it thoroughly. In addition, the entrance to the bathtub, where you showered, was very high. Older people really have problems there. Not recommended. In addition, the extractor fan did not work properly, which caused humidity to build up. There was no window for ventilation.

HungaryIt is more like a 3-star than a 4-star hotel. I could not get drinks in the bar at 20:30. There were no hangers in the wardrobe. The walls of the room were dirty. One bulb was not lit in the bathroom. The toilet was slowly flushing constantly.
The staff was really kind. The location of the hotel is good. The room was big and the bed was comfortable.

TaiwanNothing.
Close to Gare du Noord, the hotel is strategically located by metro and most sites can be reached within walking distance. The curtains block light and keep the room dark. Quiet. You have most amenities including a safe in the closet. There’s a gym too. Check out time is at noon. Guests can leave their luggage at front desk, free of charge.
