We had some booking questions and the hotel owner was difficult to get ahold of because she was away on holiday. It's a small hotel so she was the only one that could answer our questions.

Fabulous location overlooking the river and just steps away from the center of town. The breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was delightful.

The price is as steep as the stairs in the accommodation. The bathroom could use some updates.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They prepared a little surprise for my husband's birthday. Breakfast was really good. The view even from the lower floor was stunning.

This was our second stay at Rooms with a View and it was excellent again. Lovely room in a great location with private parking close by. Excellent breakfast prepared by Bie, who is a wonderful host. Thoroughly recommended.

The location was right at the city centre, super convenient for exploring around. Bie directed us to the overnight parking next to the property. The hospitality was great and the breakfast very tasty, so many choices, more than we could have imagined. The room in itself was so pretty, the wooden elements giving it such a classic vibe. We enjoyed this stay so much and for sure will come back when we are again in Gent.

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about this magical hotel, and its wonderful hosts. We had never been to Ghent before, and this proved to be the PERFECT location to experience all the city has to offer. Seriously - the location could not be better. On top of that, the room was spectacular. The bed was the highlight of our multi-city trip, the breakfast was incredible every morning, and Bie set up a taxi for us verrrry early in the morning on our last day - complete with breakfast to go. If you’re considering a place to stay in Ghent, this is the one.

Nothing. It’s perfect - but there are narrow and steep stairs up to the room so if you can’t manage stairs, it would be hard.

We loved everything about this beautiful property. From the moment we were shown to our room, we just went ‘Wow’. The views are incredible. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was perfect. We were greeted with food in our mini bar and a bottle of wine. Breakfast was included downstairs in the lovely restaurant that the landlord owns and it was so delicious with whatever we wanted and and another great view. I couldn’t rate Rooms With a View more highly - 12 out of 10

The stairs are narrow and steep but they carried our luggage to our room.

This was one of best ever breakfasts - great quality and service. Location and view from 3rd floor room was just breath taking. Parking was available just 200 m away from the hotel.

Fab location and views from the room. Very old building which added to the magic. Great facilities in the room, even a fridge with free drinks, inc a bottle of wine. We had parking a very short distance away too.

Just be aware if you have limited mobility this hotel is not for you only way to the rooms is a single steep staircase.
