I was not the biggest fan of the fact that my room was not located in the main reception/bar area. My room was actually in the building next door and while this turned out to be okay, I felt like this was a little unsafe if anything did happen in my room.

The staff, bar, toilets/showers, and comfort of the bed were the biggest positives when it came to this hostel. The staff were friendly, the toilets/showers were clean, the bar was a good place to socialise with others, and the beds were comfortable.

The description of the facilities is not accurate, there are missing things, like oven, toaster, etc. Being an apartment, washing liquid, for example, should be expected.

We were in the same building as the bar and the noise was fine with earplugs, we loved having the bar to go chill in, the atmosphere and drink selection is great

Windows in the room was not properly sealed I felt cold from that Shower and toilet (smelly) next to the room was poor condition, but there are nicer - further from the room (next to the entrance)

I liked the style of the whole place - the bar on the ground floor The vibe This vibe attract also other people so I met more very interesting people The staff very helpful - I asked for hot water for thermos and I got without any problems

The lack of a communal kitchen.I do believe the lack of that critical facility donwgrade an hostel to a mere bed&breakfast service hence the hostel comes a bit expensive compared to other cities.

It was on located in a fair distance to the center of the town. Main Staff was professional and caring. Good social atmosphere on the bar in the evenings.

The reception is in a bar next to the accommodation, so at night the noise goes straight to the accommodation. I had a problem during the night, I went to the bathroom barefoot in shorts and a tank top, and when I returned to the room my key card didn't work to open the door, I had to go out into the street barefoot, it was very cold, entering the bar full of people to ask to set it up again my key card, a situation uncomfortable and embarrassing.

Our room was described as a private room with a shared bathroom, what we were not aware of was that to get to our room or the bathroom you had to walk through a living room/ kitchen setup shared with others which could be a bit uncomfortable for me at night if I was traveling alone as a female and not with my boyfriend.

The hostel is still within walking distance from the downtown as well as the famous windmills. The pub in the hostel seemed quite nice. The room and bathroom were overall clean.

No kitchen or cooking facilities, no lounge so guests have to sit in the pub or eat out. The pub will heat food for you in their microwave if you ask apparently. The rooms were shabby and basic but clean. The beds were rock hard and mattresses stained. Common areas rather smelly. Considering the cost it was still good value for money though. Revellers sit outside the rooms drinking on the street but the doors are security locked and it felt safe nonetheless.

Location in traditional East Brugge great, yet only 7 min walk to town. Nice and quiet, authentic. Great cheap restaurants in area incl a Tibetan kitchen, supermarket, antique shops and lovely local sights such as the windmills and medieval buildings. Hostel friendly and helpful. Nice cosy gothic style pub, good beers, sociable.

The bed. The mattress was too soft and old that I had difficulty sleeping.

The value per night and that it’s close to the city center. They also have a great bar downstairs to have drinks at night.
