Slim pickings at breakfast, no water or anything in room, reception very occasionally occupied.

No electricity or water in first room, had to change room. Second room, heating not working so small heater put in room. Found hair in bed. Breakfast was poor, on first morning of stay not enough food for number of guests, second morning had to be first to breakfast room in order to get food. We stayed here with friends, two other couples who also had the same issues with their rooms. They said they would be refunding us some money for the inconveniences. On the whole a very poor hotel.

Not much choice for breakfast, ran out of bread and milk but no one around to replace them. Walls very thin, could hear man next door snoring! No house keeping so no clean towels after day one.

I am very dissapointed of this hotel. We spend 2 nights in this 3 star hotel: 1. the floor was not clean in the room and also in the bath. 2. the sink was blocked 3. it was cold in the room ( i expected to be moderate warm before the arrival of the guests) 4. nobody available at the reception ( the access card was left on the desk) 5. the day prior the arrival i have sent a message to the hotel - i got no response 6. i have asked to clean the room the next day, however only the bed was made instead ( with the same sheets and nothing else was touched) 7. Our room was next to the breakfast area, so around 7h30 all the noises have started. Also it was smelling like food in the room ( i understand that maybe no other room was available and we got the only available that is next to the breakfast place), however it was not pleasent). 8. Before our checkout i wanted to pay for the stay, however the person from the reception was not aware what amount i should pay, so i had to look in booking. Overall i expected more from a 3 star hotel. we have payed around 380EUR for two nights and we expected to meet the necessary comfort.

1. Very good location 2. in case of a need ( cannot open the door of our room, the receptionist helped). Staff overal was friendly.

Taxi driver on first day charged us €15 wanted cash so charged £20 to the central market place a 5 min ride!!. Careful of them! had we realised things were so close and there was a free shuttle never seen

Nice quiet location only a short walk from the central market and train station. All local attractions close by and a lovely choice of restaurants and cafes close by.

Dirty, no staff available ever, plug sockets hanging out of wall, dirty bathroom, noisy, shower pathetic.

No working heating. Single beds pushed together uncomfortable. No staff to meet on arrival or when leaving. Toilet was dirty as was the toilet brush. One light working out of four in bathroom. Plug was missing in basin.

This was the worst hotel we ever stayed. Decided to check out and book another one after the first night. At check out, the staff didn’t even ask the reason and didn’t offer any refund. Floor and walls were visibly dirty, poorly made uncomfortable bed, dirty decor pillows and blanket on the bed with chemical spots on them. No bath mat provided, two different color and size towels which were old and smelling stale. The socket cover was missing from the wall exposing the contacts. After seeing the kitchen upon arrival, we decided not to have breakfast there the following morning.

Only good thing about this hotel is the central location next to a huge public parking.

We had to ask for clean towels which were then provided. One bed was not so comfortable but that her was good.

The room was very spacious and clean. The location was great close to walk to all attractions, bus and train station. The staff were friendly.

Room dirty. Hair in basin, on tiles and on the floor in bathroom. Bed had a lean that if you turned over you’d fall out. The lights only stayed on for 90 seconds before going out and needing a reset which made EVERYTHING problematic, especially showering. Shower screen not fitted/sealed properly to so it’s floods the floor which you have to clean up (along with unknown persons hair) and nobody at desk to check us in or out.

It was extremely hot day and air-conditioning in our room was broken. We had to sleep with open window. Large towels were missing. Some equipment of the bathroom was broken (it was possible to take away a tap in a shower and the stopper in the sink was possible to be released only from the bottom of sink), the ceiling in the bathroom was completely rusty.

Hotel room was very dirty. No staff available for any problems. No toilet roll provided. Towels provided were damp. Terrace a good addition but fence very unsteady, nails poking out from decking and decking itself needs updating.

We had two single beds, which were a bit on the small side and not very comfy. They were also very squeaky, so not a very good night sleep. This was the only drawback. Everything else was perfect!!

The location was perfect for our visit to the Zandfeesten antiques market, which takes place just outside the hotel. It is easy walking distance to all the local attractions and food places. The breakfast was superb. There was added interest of the team cutting the hams on the vintage slicing machine. The decor was really tasteful.
