The photos do not capture the breathtaking beauty of this hotel. The interior was spectacular. Very welcoming staff and excellent breakfast. The location is also very convenient - close to everything we wanted to see.

The rooms were amazing. So much stuff to look at but not in a cluttered uncomfortable way. It was super clean and cosy and the breakfast was amazing.

Now for the drawbacks. Parking is 35 euros for a space on a nearby street. It's a bit surprising for a high-end boutique hotel, as it didn't feel super secure. On a bright note, the hotel is actually working on renovating their own parking spots right now. The breakfast situation is interesting. It's a bit on the pricey side, and it would be great if there was more clarity about what's included in default "breakfast package" without asking on the reception. Nice that you can place custom order but a heads-up, though, the pricing can be a surprise. Like, I ordered oatmeal and granola and it came to 40 EUR, which felt a bit high for such simple dishes. Maybe some clearer pricing would help out a lot! To wrap up, I want to add that since the hotel is new, there are a few small imperfections, but I'm confident the management will work on these. Good luck, and I really had a pleasant time staying with you!

The room's design was impressive, clearly reflecting the overall concept of the hotel. The option to order a custom dish for breakfast was a delightful touch. The beautiful enclosed garden and pleasant aromas in the lobby contributed to a charming atmosphere. The staff is also very nice and pleasant.

There was nothing that we disliked about The Notary.

The building was so charming and warm, you step in trough the door and there is a almost mystical ambiance inside. We loved the room that we had with the fireplace in the bathroom, the bed was very comfortable and most of all everything was spotless clean! We would recommend also the breakfast experience. And last but not least the staff was mostly friendly and they know how to serve their guests. We love to came back again.

Everything was perfect

Every aspect of the property was utterly breathtaking. The stunning interiors and architecture could not be captured in photos. The hotel is clearly loved by the owners and the staff and we felt like their highest priority at all times. I encourage the owner to stay a night in the junior suite. Although beautiful, it is not practical.

It was situated just around the corner from the Old Town. The bed and linnen were exquisite.
