Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineExcellent location of the accommodation. Very cozy house with all amenities. Very nice and attentive owners. Thank you Rudy for the lovely breakfasts. We only stayed for a couple of nights and did not have time to see all the sights of Bruges and as soon as we have the opportunity to visit this beautiful city again, I would love to stay at the Tree & B again.

NetherlandsMy partner and I stayed here for two nights while traveling to Bruges for a marathon. Rudi and Ann were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had a truly memorable stay. Their home is cozy and impeccably clean, with a beautiful garden, and it's just a short walk from the city center. Without a doubt, we would stay here again! Thank you!

AustraliaTree & B was our favourite BnB throughout our 3 week Europe trip. Peter and Ann welcomed us with open arms into their beautiful home. We were provided with maps, guide books and advice on what to see and do as soon as we arrived so our time in Bruges wasn't wasted. The room was great with a super comfortable bed, TV w Netflix, Tea and Coffee and a large bathroom with the best shower ever. And the breakfast was delicious! The walk into town takes approx 20 min and is nice and safe and easy. Thanks for having us Peter and Ann.

RussiaJust the location - it's quite far from the city center and all the tourist's locations. On the opposite side, it's very quite there and there is a countryside vibe in this place.
The house and the room were really nice, it felt like you came to visit your friends in the countryside. The breakfast is delicious, I liked that you can choose what to have for breakfast the next day.

We loved how clean and comfortable the property was. Rudi and Ann were lovely. On arrival Rudi greeted us and gave us a map of the city and pointed out some great areas of interest. The breakfasts each morning were amazing consisting mainly of local and home produce. The property is also within walking distance of the city. We can fully recommend this B&B

United StatesWhile quite close to the old city of Bruges, it's not right there, and parking is a few blocks from the B&B, but it was not a problem for us or anyone who is mobile. It's not at all a deterrent to staying there.
The 1929 renovated into a B & B that retains its historic charm is beautiful and charming. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable. They provide an amazing breakfast in a welcoming garden. Just delightful!

The Tree & B is a true gem, an oasis in the bustling tourist city of Brugge. It’s just a pleasant 15-minute walk to the main square, making it conveniently located. Our bedroom was spacious with plenty of storage, and the modern, beautiful external bathroom was just a few meters away from our room. The house is stylish and offers a relaxing holiday atmosphere. The garden, complete with a fishpond, is state-of-the-art. Ann and Rudi are lovely hosts who run their business with utmost professionalism. The breakfast choices and quality were unparalleled. We highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you very much for the lovely experience.

What a special place! The old house has been sensitively restored with an eye for detail, and it is obvious everywhere, that the owners have put so much love and care into ensuring they retain the heart and soul of the old building and garden. Our room and bathroom were super clean, beautiful and cosy, and we really looked forward to coming back to our room in the evening. The breakfast was one of the best B’n B breakfasts we’ve ever had. We particularly loved the fresh fruit salad and the fried eggs and bacon. Absolutely delicious!
