Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaHousekeeping needed to be contacted everyday. There was never a full complement of towels. You cannot dry after shower with one face cloth for two people. They were old and small…again, not 5 star quality. It was always rectified, but shouldn’t be a requirement in a 5 star hotel. The beaches are not private and the locals are always constantly trying to sell, yelling continuously. It was annoying.
The staff were pleasant. Food choices were exceptional. The guys who work on the beach to set out lounges and umbrellas are very hard workers.

United KingdomWhilst the food choices were ok the food was always cold. We booked for one of the restaurants only for the reservation to be cancelled when we arrived. The service in the spa was poor tried to book on the app and then they did not respond to my request I called and was told not available.. why show times available on the app if they are not. You can achieve this for the rest instants but not the spa? Why?
I felt that the staff on the whole were very friendly and tried their best. The entertainment was not as good as other RIU hotels I have stayed at. The room despite being old was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out we’re good. Drinks were good and plentiful

BrazilAltought, I had some problemas during my stay. The alarm inside the room launched not during the teste period (1st day) but through the other 3 days of my stay (4am, 11pm…) I could not sleep the hole night any day. Also we must wear a band during the stay even to swim, to go to the beach, to take shower, to sleep, and if it broke you will have to pay $250. That’s anoying, the band gets dirty and smells bad. It’s so cheap, maybe we could change everyday. The check in take quite long. At the first day, I left the room around 10:20am, but it wasn’t cleaned for the rest of the day.
The room is comfortable, and the air works very well

United StatesThey should get carpet in rooms or at least small rugs. There’s no heater in rooms, and should have better choice of alcohol in rooms. Hard to book restaurants… needs a better system for reserving. Finally got in one restaurant and there were empty tables, the buffet food was better.
The ambience, the staff are nice, the buffet food was really good! Lots of things to do, the pool is heated, the Caplyso lounge was so much fun and the drinks are very good!

United StatesRestaurants could have had more variety, and were difficult to book although always seemed to have availability. Late night amenities were scarce, and we had to go off of the resort in order to enjoy nightlife. More of a boutique/cruise ship type feel than what we would expect from a Bahamas resort, especially considering the local competition.
Our King suite was spacious and had a fantastic view of the ocean, with the waves crashing down outside of our balcony. it was clean and allowed for us to enjoy the week or so we were at the property. The resort's beach was the best beach on the island, and had more than enough room for all of the guests. Drinks stayed flowing at the beach bar, with friendly staff that were ready to help whenever asked.

HungaryThe staff at the reception were mostly unprepared, giving almost no information, not even basic information. There is a wide choice of restaurants, but the quality of the food is critically poor. Location 5 stars, rooms 3 stars, everything else 1 star.
The only big advantage of the hotel is its location, right on the beach.

United KingdomThe room was very very loud, we were on the 4th floor but outside was a ventilation system and even with the doors closed it was very loud. We have a partial sea view but not a full sea view as paid for. The room was dirty with hair in the bathroom and even after cleaning it was still dirty.
The location is quite good, nice beach, with plenty of space, food was quite good, drinks could be a bit better.

United StatesFood wasn’t always available or very limited in availability. Sandwiches in bar and almost anywhere were soggy. In current situation, walking to Atlantis is not convenient as it looks. Do not go down the beach to walk into Atlantis casino as they will not allow you entrance. Pool bar staff sometimes got too crazy to the point that guests didn’t receive quick service. Restaurant reservations were not convenient to make. Reserve immediately when they become available or you won’t get one. Despite restaurants being less than half full at the max, you will not be able to just walk in.
Beach is fantastic. View was excellent (suggest a north side room). Bar pool temperature was great. Drinks were not weak. While it was all-inclusive food which can tend to start tasting all the same, it was good. Omelette at breakfast buffet was quick and delicious. Ramen dish at Asian restaurant was great. “Saucy rice” and lobster great at steakhouse was delicious. Team members were ready to be friendly but I had to initiate the conversation or interaction. Room service staff was friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Room size and closet were good. Never ran out of sun space or chairs. In room bar was appreciated.

United KingdomOn check out day we had an evening flight so we didn't leave the hotel until 6pm. The hotel does not provide anywhere to shower after checking out of our room. They quoted me 200 dollars if we wanted to keep the room for an extra 5 hours. This took the edge off what was otherwise a lovely holiday and first experience of a RIU hotel.

United KingdomShame the poolside lunch was precooked instead of being fresh to order. Plenty staff cooking in the buffet. Maybe having staff preparing and cooking fresh poolside would be better in my opinion. Speciality restaurants are beautiful however the fish and meats were overcooked. We were always able to book as we stayed 8 nights. For short stays you are unable to book the restaurants until you are allocated your room. The Riu App was very helpful
Fabulous beach and sunbeds and parasols. Beach staff all very helpful.Food overall was good especially the buffet. Lily and Tia shine in the buffet restaurant. Quality drinks. Hotel constantly being cleaned. Room cleaned and bed made fresh daily. Shower was great, always hot water and fresh towels. Entertainment round the pool every day and evenings in the bar. Majority of staff were very good.

CyprusWhile an all-inclusive, its food is sadly below average on all occasions, be it the buffets or the individual restaurants which are very difficult to book in any event. Bathroom requires more amenities and at least a bath mat.
Well placed on a lovely beach on Paradise Island. Served easily by taxis on demand. Rooms are as pictured. It is truly all-inclusive, including alcohol and a full mini bar. Very generous post check-out policy.
