What a great place to stay to explore Chobe, the rooms are freshly renovated in a modern safari style with coffee facilities (not all lodges have this) The staff are all super friendly keen to chat, the dinners, breakfast and safari tea were all home cooking at its best. meeting other guests to chat to each evening really made the stay 5 stars! They organise their own boat safaris at a very reasonable price as well as land safaris in their own safari vehicles. beautiful spot on the river with a good little bar to enjoy a drink round the Boma each night. Would recommend to family and friends.

The property is beautiful. It is on the river and very peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, large and very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner each day as well as game drives and boat rides.

Location. Beautiful view. Private room with chobe river view. Beautiful maintained buildings and garden. Tranquil surroundings. The breakfast and dinner was very well prepared and presented. Stunning sunset view. Very efficient and friendly staff. We just loved our stay.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay special. When they found out it was our honeymoon they gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling and sent up a private romantic dinner for us with candles etc. Food was excellent. The game drive and boat ride they offered were also great - their guide is very knowledgeable and was able to get us close to the animals including lions, elephants and hippos

The owners have done a nice job maintaining the property, and the staff enjoy their jobs. All very friendly and willing to help. The rooms are very well decorated, and the grounds well taken care of. The personal touches, like freshly baked muffins and cookies at the coffee stand available all day. An exceptional place to relaxed and unwind, with a beautiful location. Sofia, the manager and member of the family that owns the place, is another reason why our stay was so incredible, she is a delight!!

very nice and modern rooms, beautiful and cosy territory outdoor. Friendly and polite staff and amazing activities (boat and safari). It’s really nice to chill in the evening at terrace listening to nature’a sounds. I recommend river view lodge to everyone)

Everything was made with love (e.g. dinner, room decorations) and perfectly orchestrated (e.g. activities). Everyone was very caring (e.g. helping us see leopards during game drives :D). We could feel they wanted us to have the best possible stay and we did! We'll definitely come back to their lodge for our next trip to Botswana.

Nearly missed my engagement the following morning as the security was no where to be found to open the gate. They should make prior arrangement with guests who have morning engagements.

The place offered a good time for relaxation and the ambience was great as its right on the river bank. The staff was friendly and their customer service was great. Will call again.

An absolute treasure in Kazungula on the banks of the Chobe River. Wonderful staff including our ranger Matthews who took us out on a game drive and sunset cruise. Stunning rooms especially our free upgrade!!!!Lovely food although portions are very very generous!!! Safe undercover parking. We would definitely visit again

Sofia is an excellent host. She's very knowledgeable and we could book game drives and sunset cruises via the lodge. Comfortable rooms and we loved that for dinner we were all sitting together on a big table. This way we could exchange tips and ideas with other guests.

We had a great place in this very nice lodge. We booked last minute one night but extended our stay due to the friendliness and great activities! We had 2 very nice dinners in the restaurants! The activities (boat trip, morning game drive and visit to Vic falls) were very well organised and of high quality. Our guide Matthew knew a lot and could explain everything to our sons! The pool, garden and bar are all great! Highly recommend the place! And great vakue for money!

the garden isn’t as big as it looks in pictures and you can’t get close to the river because there is a fence (to protect from cocodriles and hyppos). breakfast should be improved. Rooms are average
