The room was next to the bar and they were always playing music. I didn't mind but it was always on and at times I wish they didn't have any so we could enjoy the peace and listen to the sound of the waves (we had a beach front room).

Small boutique hotel so felt quite private, which is what we wanted. Beautiful room and views to the beach and reef. Wish we could have stayed longer in this hotel and San Pedro. You can even rent kayaks at the hotel for free! Yes its a bit further away from the centre but we were only there for 2 nights so it was a nice adventure with the golf carts and a good way to visit more parts of the island as we went back and forth between the hotel and San Pedro. Also you'll be closer to secret beach.

It was a bit far, after a day or so we didn’t mind the drive.

I absolutely loved the property and the room looked exactly like the pictures. The staff was 10 ⭐️ there was nothing we could ask for and they didn’t deliver. I am definitely going back and will be rebooking with them again.

The unit we had, although very nice and private, was right above the bar; the constant , rhythmic music from about 7 am till 9pm so, it was difficult to relax

It's a little far from downtown San Pedro. My safe was not working.

Staff is super friendly, the food was good. The small beach access was clean and quiet. My unit had everything I needed, the bed was comfortable.

Only drawback is the water (shower and sink, not drinking water) occasionally had an ashy smell. And in our second floor unit the water pressure was uneven, and sometimes very light.

The staff was so friendly and professional. Every single person we interacted with was kind, well trained, funny, responsive. Heydi was extremely helpful and responsive. We saw the manager a number of times, as she is on site regularly and checks in with guests. The guys at the bar gave us good ideas for day trips and beaches to visit. The location feels removed when you look at a map, and the first time you drive your golf cart from pavement onto the dirt/sand road with a couple miles still to travel, it is removed, but the hospitality of the team, beauty of the location, and thoughtful details and comfort of this property are so worth it! Finally - the food was great. Everything we tried on the menu was delicious, and we really enjoyed the pizza.

They played loud music starting at 7:30 every morning and played it on repeat all day long. Having Evanescence as my wake up call, and then throughout the day constantly was overwhelming.

We loved everything about the property

The service was incredible. The tour desk booked two snorkeling trips for us that picked us up directly from the hotel’s pier. Brian and Chris at the restaurant were so nice and made the best drinks. I forgot the name of the woman who runs the property but she was always on site and always checked on her guests. It felt almost like staying in the home of a very gracious hostess.

Lovely location on the beach. You need transport, a bike or golf buggy is ideal as you are approximately 5 miles out of the town. The location suited us perfectly, as it was far away from San Pedro, the town is really busy, noisy and we couldn't wait to leave, not for us! The staff at the Hidden Jewel were really friendly and helpful and we had a lovely seating area outside our cabana which overlooked the pool are but was very private. Great kitchen facilities, even the sofa bed was comfortable. Get up early to see the sunrise from the beach- inspiring.

The only thing we didn’t like was that our room (7) was over a spring loaded door that had heavy usage, so there was constant slamming of the door from about 6:30am to 11:30pm every day. We told them about it, but it did not stop. Seems like someone could put some rubber stoppers around the door to absorb the sound and it would be a quick and easy fix.

The property is beautiful, well kept, intimate and perfect for a quiet luxurious getaway. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We felt like we had the resort to ourselves almost the entire time.

Better Directions on how to get to the hotel. It was at the end of a Sandy Road.

The food was good. The bar was great. A few was great prices were good but the water pressure was a little bit low. I had to run around in the shower to get wet.

I would have liked to see a handrail at the entrance for the pool and some higher pool chairs as my husband has a bad knee and it is difficult for him to use stairs without a handrail or sit in Low chairs. Our room (#7) appeared to be right above the kitchen area and early am and in the evenings we could hear lots of banging from below or possibly out back. Would also suggest to have some type of gift/snack shop as well. Would have liked to been able to purchase one of the drink coasters!!

Beautiful setting, nice pool and beach area. A/C in the rooms worked great. They take wonderful care of the property everything was clean and tidy. All staff were very attentive and pleasant/friendly. The food was absolutely the best. I don’t believe we had a bad meal during our entire stay. We could hear conversation by visitors that had come to the hotel for their evening meal and they would comment as well as to how wonderful the food was. They was nervous about our reservation as I couldn’t find any information on the internet and almost canceled our reservation and went somewhere else. I am so glad I didn’t as this is one of the best stays we have ever had anywhere!!! Kudos to everyone at the Hidden Jewel Boutique Hotel!!

The location is 4 miles or so from town. If you don’t rent a cart then it’s $50 each way by cab. No public buses on the island.

Right on the beach. The doors to our room , with a 4 poster bed, opened to the best view I’ve ever had in any tropical hotel. Stunning. Try booking room 2 or 3 for your stay. The staff were very helpful and brought our meals to our veranda whenever we asked. You can literally walk out the door into the ocean.

The road is not well lit getting to the property.

Large modern one bedroom with full kitchen and amazing bathroom . The staff were friendly and attentive at the restaurant and bar. The drinks and food were amazing. The property is well maintained and the pool was clean. We enjoyed our time here immensely .

Not many other eating places nearby but this isn’t the fault of the resort. You would Have to have a golf cart if staying here which we had so it didn’t cause a problem for us.

Loved this little place. It was very well kept everything was immaculate, staff from the manageress to the Gardner were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Rooms were modern with everything you could need and good air con. The restaurant and bar had a good menu and the food was good. It is a way out of town but this suited us as it was quiet. Couldn’t fault it and I’m fussy!
