The pool and hot tub were unavailable, and it seems they haven't been for quite some time. This was especially frustrating given the hot weather. We were directed to use the pool at the neighboring motel, but this was not a Best Western Plus property. Additionally, the free WiFi, a key factor in our decision to stay here, did not work. The staff acknowledged this issue, stating, "That part of the hotel never works. Just try logging onto the WiFi from the next-door motel." Overall, the amenities did not justify the cost.

The location is good for visitors to the area of Clearwater.

It’s noisy. There is no soundproofing and hard floors mean there’s pretty much constant noise. I did mention this to reception and was moved to a much quieter room which was greatly appreciated.

The lady who we checked in with was not very friendly. No swimming pool which they did not tell us about or offer an alternative (apparently you can use next door but again, the lady who checked us in wasn’t very friendly). Although the hotel is modern the decor is incredibly gloom and basic. It feels like an office. No idea why it’s been styled that way. It needs some life to it!

Property is clean and the rooms are modern. Breakfast was good.

The room was comfortable, but not geared to those over 55. Grab bars should be in the shower, magnifying mirrors, etc. There was no lobby per se and the eating area was closed off until the morning meal. Facilities for eating were limited -- very difficult to cross the highway to the other eateries as fences blocked both sides and there were no sidewalks or lighting.

Staff on check in - we arrived early as our trip was unpredictable timewise and we’re told to go away until 4pm. It was 2.30. Came back slightly early as we had plans & would like to have showered and the girl put up a back soon sign and disappeared. She came back and checked one other person who was also waiting around for over an hour - then her shift ended and she pushed everything on to the next girl who was lovely, and walked away. However the room wasn’t ready for at least another hour . It was a bad first impression and never have I anywhere had anyone not acknowledge that I was standing there , let alone communicate with me and discuss when the room would be ready. She hadn’t even let housekeeping know we were waiting. I would never recommend nor stay here again - I am very patient person and this is the first time I have strongly felt annoyed at a check in process which made our day long and more exhausting than it should of been

Receptionist on arrival was not very welcoming. Curtain in room falling down + hook on bathroom door missing. Breakfast was awful, self service , plastic/paper cutlery and plates. Road noise. Still building out front, pool not open.

Room had not been properly cleaned .. the floor was dirty as when walking on it our feet (and baby crawling, became very dirty.) Floor just needed a good mop to clean. Also hadn’t been properly swept as baby crawling around managed to find a large cherry which we only noticed when it was in his mouth! Needed a more thorough clean but otherwise the room was nice and comfortable.

The furniture was not fitted well in the room. The paper signs about not cleaning your room on certain days because of covid were weird. Covid was 3 years ago and realistically you need to clean more due to it so that made no sense and the signs ruined the aesthetic of the building. The pool and hot tub were not finished you can’t say it has those features if they don’t work. Breakfast was basic.

the breakfast was a big disappointment. There was a sign saying due to staff shortage, there would be no hot breakfast. There was little to select from to make a breakfast. I feel this should be reflected on the nightly rate we paid. Also, there was a notice taped to every suite’s door, stating the hotels weekly cleaning policy (due to staff shortages and Covid) which seemed a bit strange since we were booking for one night only. Regardless, the front desk staff were lovely to deal with, I know these are not issues they can deal with.

I chose this hoyel because of pool. It was closed. Front desk lady(s) were miserable. Cleaning staff had my makeup bag on there cart. They forgot to hand it in. It was obvious they were tring to steal it.

The service personnel wasn't interested on the guests. She should look for a different job. Breakfast was very limited. You always have to ask for additional food because it was empty. Plastic over plastic at the breakfast.
