Avoid this horrible place; spend a few more dollars elsewhere. No one told us about the lack of hot water after 9 pm. The hostel has a bar underneath, owned by the hostel's owners, and the loud music kept us awake until 2 am. We couldn't even reach the owner since he turned off his phone at 9 or 10 pm. To make matters worse, he never apologized and didn't respond to our texts for a week. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

It was quit dirty all around. Floor is sticky, random stuff all over the room - box, clothes that someone has left. We were there for 2 days - WCs and showers were not cleaned a single time. Yes, I can agree with some reviews- some of mess is made by disgusting visitors, but lot of it is due to lack of simple cleaning standards by hostel. Shelf near my bed was all sticky and covered with food leftovers. Lot of auto messages from hostel - some were helpful, some had really outdated and misleading info (mask bylaw, discount on place that doesn’t exist anymore). Same time when we texted owner - no response.

Location is really good. It is the lowest price per night you can get in the area. Still quality could be way, way better with just few easy improvements. Self check in was easy and handy.

Worst location to stay in canmore. We booked 8 beds for men , each was allocated in different rooms and no 4 were in female. We asked for refund only 50% was refunded. My worst experience ever

Honestly the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The bathrooms weren’t cleaned properly, if cleaned at all. We didn't get hot water once in the showers. The common area was a mess, fridge and bins overflowing. The kitchen area was small and there is hardly no countertop space. It was difficult to fill our water bottles as the water in the kitchen sink was always lukewarm, never cold. Our room was way too small to have six people in it, the sheets weren’t cleaned properly, there were holes in the walls and the AC did not work so we felt like we were in an oven every night. We had a terrible roommate (not the fault of the hostel) but we couldn’t find the manager to ask to move rooms. I’ve stayed in many hostels all over the world, and this is by far the worst.

Beds are wobbly, tilted, make a lot of noise and fell like you would fall had you moved any more, worst ever beds Hot water ends sooner No ac or fan to moderate the temperature in the room, can get extremely hot and boiling. No staff on campus to talk to issues or address concerns Rooms are smelly no air fresheners.

Good location, centre to downtown and all other amenities. It was a great hostel when opened in 2019 and I see it’s steeping to low quality now.

The main door to the street wasn’t locked. Also they messaged me at least 50 times before check in and then multiple times during our stay and so much after that I had to block the number.

Noisy extraction fan noise coming through the window.

Value for money, for us it was just a bed for the night after doing an outback horse riding trip in Banff, beats paying $500 for a hotel. Nice town, it would have been nice to stay a few days.

No staff, no organization, bathroom stalls completely out of toilet paper (all stalls), soap dispensers broken off walls, assigned beds but someone in the bed numbers we were told were ours, impossible to find staff.

Were informed linens and towels provided. We had to ask for pillow cases and never received towels. We were there for 2 nights, asked 3x and still never received towels. Staff not around most of the time so difficult to resolve any issues. Common area very small and not particularly comfortable. It's a hostel so my expectations weren't high but towels would have been nice .

The bathroom had no hot water. I stayed 4 days with no hot water. Staff says, their tank is small and that's why. The kitchen was filthy. Room- tv and cooler was not set up. Very dusty. Washroom was ok. Shower cartoon was filthy, yellow, mouldy.

Very unwelcoming,👎 horrible greeting system. no hot water, 👎super noisy room door alarm that go off every time it's opened waking people up at night👎👎. Felt more like social housing with all the babys and taking up the Comunal areas.

When we arrived we found the bed was double booked. the host even suggested us to sleep in one bunk bed for two people. The room was too warm, the noise from downstairs was too loud .we asked the money back and went to another hotel.

I was interested in it because of the good price . the location sounds good too. But the fact is that it is not good.

Really unorganized. Door code didn't work. There were more guests, who experienced the same. Assigned bed was already occupied. The room was messy. Hallway was dirty. The curtain on most of the beds was torn. Would add plugin and a reading-light at every bed. Not quite sure if I would stay again.
