Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaRoom keys were desactivated every day and had to go to the lobby or staff had to come to the room to fix the problem. Very dark and old hallway. The bedroom needed some fixing, the handle in the tub was loose, some lights not working and damaged. Need different card from lobby desk to use the pool and it's not convenient. Lightning in pool area is dark.
Beds were comfortable. Great big space in the room. Lot of storage. Very clean. Underground parking with a lot of spaces. Only cars and SUV fit, it's tight a bit. If you have a truck, they have parking spaces outside behind the hotel. Staff is friendly. Multiples elevators for 12+ floors. Nice views from 8th floor in our room. Linen was refresh every 2 days. Next to Cosmos, really good restaurant and Sushi at the lobby had long lineups and was busy. No carpet in the room was really nice.

Canadamore lighting in the corridors.
We found the corridors a little dark and were surprised that the beds were not made after our first night. But other than that we were very satisfied with the room. the location of the hotel, the cleanliness and friendliness and especially the 3-day free bus pass.

United StatesThe hotel’s common areas show their age. In some places, carpets, walls, doors show excessive wear and appear dirty. The hallways are rather dark. The only on-site restaurant is a sushi place. Other restaurants are nearby, but it would have be nice to have other selections on-site. There is no breakfast of any type on-site.
The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

United StatesThe bedside lamps were broken in our bedroom and while they did send someone up to help fix them, he didn't know how to and ended up not doing anything for us. Was a little disappointed by this as it made it hard to read in bed.
Good value for the price. Clean. Conveniently located with some interesting restaurants nearby.

CanadaAdvertised here as 4-star, but they are 3-star. Location is on Laurier St, which is the only street to travel from the hotel's area to the Old Quebec. Thus, during peak hours (16:00-18:00), traffic is very heavy. The AC is very cold for us and it cannot be adjusted. The fan speed can be adjusted, but not the temperature. Regardless of the set temperature, the AC always freezes. If it's too cold, turning it off is the only option. Opening the door is not a good option either due to the noise from the street. So, if you don't like the cold (20-22 Celsius), dress well to stay warm.
Clean room. New wallpaper. Many spaces in underground parking. Near mall, phamarprix and some restaurants and coffee shops. Convenient to drive around and grab your needs. Good noise isolation.

CanadaThe floors were uneven, the wait for the elevators was ridiculous, the sink leaks and made a huge mess. The paint on the door frame flakes off everything's you open it and it is horribly difficult to own and close. Otherwise it was fine.

Canada1.First, we all hated the elevator. So tight and we had moments when waited 17-22 min to can get in one. It was absolutely crazy with the elevator, did not expect that. 2.They have the interior parking but it is really a run to get a place...Sometimes we congratulated ourselves for arriving in front of other 3-4 cars that were in line behind us, all desperate to get a place. Oh, my.. 3. The beds and the pillows.Like stones. Did not have a good night sleep, any of us. A chance I had the pillow of my son with me, after another experience last week... 4. No balcony, but when we entered, this is what we saw in front of our window. Not nice. When we left, there were even more... I understand that there might be people that are not knowing what a garbage place is, but at least when you give a room to a guest, you have to check and be sure he will like what he sees on the window- especially when he does not have a balcony. Same with the shower, which was full of long black hair... We are all blonds and have short hair :)so, - we just did not like that no one washed it before. Other than that, was ok.
The hotel is nice; the room big and clean. Enough towels, which was great. Easy to go by car to the closest parking, from where you can start enjoying Quebec city. No breakfast, but you have a Mc Donald, a Metro, a Super C and a Cosmo restaurant right there. The huge Mall in front of the hotel is a big plus, especially if you have the "luck" to get a rainy day:) People at the reception ok, not warm or so welcoming, just ok..
