Parking was a little tight for the lodge+restaurant, would be a little more difficult if it was busy there!

1. Trails could be better labelled - initially hard to locate the hiking trails/East Coast trail. 2. The property relies heavily on a guest portal website - which contains info for the property/wifi/check in/check out… the website never loaded properly. we couldn’t access the check in info because there was no cell service… needed wifi to access the website but to get the wifi info you needed to load the website… 3. No steamer or iron available…Lots of nice restaurants nearby, was shocked there wasn’t an iron or steamer in our room 4. The hot tub was chlorine, not salt water

We stayed in the Puffin Burrow suite. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, we were speechless. The unit was large and clean. The bed was super comfy. The blinds were on a remote system to make watching sunrise a breeze!! We enjoyed the hot tub each night and loved having coffee on the patio. All of the staff on site were so welcoming! As a bonus - the forager restaurant was exceptional. Totally recommend. The staff were amazing, and were so accommodating of my food allergies - this meant alot to us!

The location is stunning, it was great that each of our rooms had views overlooking the ocean. The facilities were great, lots of thought had gone in to ensure the rooms were well equipped. The decor was nice, clean, fresh and up to date.

Fridge in the room a bit noisy but I got used to it.

I loved it. The apartments have everything one would need to bbq and cook in place. Everything was very clean and there some homey touches such as books to read and wonderful smelling soap. You have a code for the doors so you can come and go as you please. A small bar/coffee place on the premises as well. Beds vwere very comfortable.

Clearly this was a very new venture. You could smell the paint and glue. But well done. The restaurant and bar were not yet open, but when they do open for service, this place will be even better. I think in these early stages they were understaffed because our checkout involved no interaction with a person. Just walk out, send a text, get an emailed receipt and done. Having someone at the desk to confer with about the stay would have been appreciated.

Gorgeous location with the views of the crashing Atlantic waves that we wanted. A very large room with comfortable amenities and bed, and that view!

Unfortunately, the pictures and description shown by booking are different from the reality of the provided room. We expected a spacious room and got a very small one-room-unit (kitchenette, bed and living room) which was fit between two two-storey buildings adjoining on both sides. We felt a bit trapped. Space inside was very limited. Perfect for a short getaway for a weekend but definitely not suited for travellers with a lot of luggage. Also, there were quite a lot of woodlices (Carpenters) in the room. The garbage was not emptied daily and new towels were only provided on request. We had to bring the garbage to the reception ourselves. There is certainly space for service improvement.

The location is amazing and the ocean view excellent.
