Canada- Nasty pool - don't book this hotel because of the pool. Too cold, muddy water, algae, disgusting! - Windows do not open. - Poor soundproof, kids upstairs were jumping and we thought the ceiling would fall down. - You need to be really lucky to get your eggs or meat for breakfast or come early. Maybe that was because they close the breakfast at 9:30am and that is when most of the people come in. The schedule needs to be adjusted during summer when more people stay for leisure and not for business. - The staff will need to work hard to justify the asked price.

Canadapool was closed and when was reopened there was algae all over the stairs and bottom of the pool-did not go in once during our stay. breakfast items were not replenished quickly-there were a lot of people in there, limited places to sit. overall value was not worth the money for lack of pool use and limited breakfast items and space

CanadaThe rate promised breakfast. It was the worst breakfast. The tables were dirty in the eating area and several of the machines were "out of order". The only eggs available were hardboiled. The coffee was awful.

CanadaThe staff at the front desk weren't to 'with it'. - Comfort Inn - GODERICH, ONTARIO We had a huge problem with our booking. Original booking was done online at the Comfort Inn website for the evening of Saturday, June 25th, 2022 - GODERICH, ONTARIO. We discovered that we could go a day early (work responsibilities changed and we had the opportunity to add another day to our getaway), therefore, I called the hotel DIRECTLY and added the additional evening. We arrived at the hotel and our booking did not show in the system. I had the booking in an email in my phone to prove it (for both nights) but it didn't seem to matter. I have already been billed by Booking.com for my original booking of the evening of June 25th (I have my Visa statement). The person at the front desk ended up cancelling my reservation (?? but remember, this reservation didn't show in the system ????). He then re-booked our room for 2 nights and I had to pay June 24th and June 25th at the hotel. So, to sum it up, I have paid 'twice' for the room that I booked for June 24th - online and then again at the hotel. I would appreciate it someone would contact me regarding this as I have money owing to me. The original booking that was done online for 1 evening - June 25th - was $337.87. The total bill for 2 nights at the hotel was $449.74. I am owed $337.87. The front desk person told me that I'd have to solve this problem with VISA and did not offer to 'make things right' at the hotel. This was at approximately 11:30 pm, Friday, June 24th/22 - which was also our 39th wedding anniversary - great way to end our anniversary with this experience - NOT ! CanadaThere was a mixup with the billing upon checking in. Put a bit of a damper on the evening not knowing what to expect at check out time. The bill was 3 times as much when we first checked in and I was told not to worry about it. They would get it sorted out. However upon check out, the bill came to what I was originally quoted. But, as I say, we worried all night not knowing what the bill would be in the morning believing that we would be in negotiations in the morning.

CanadaBreakfast could have been better. Little healthy options for families who watch what they eat. We were hoping there would be a good source of protein but we were disappointed. Lots of sugary / cheesy food.
Location great. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. One woman even turned on the water machine so I could fill up my child's cup before we left the hotel. Would return.

United StatesFor my room being a suite, the size of the room was smaller than what was expected it to be. I was at a hotel the night before in Sarnia, and the suite I had there was almost 3/4 bigger in size than what I had at the Comfort Inn. The cost of the room in my opinion, was quite overpriced. Bed was very uncomfortable as was the pull out couch for my son
The location of the hotel is perfect. Very accessible for anywhere you want to go in town. The front desk ahs lots of brochures for restaurants and different things to do. Can't say enough about the staff.......very pleasant and professional from the minute we walked in the door. Parking lot very spacious and lots of handicap parking for those like myself who require that.
