The River Room restaurant needs some tightening up on their menu. The dining room is beautiful but the breakfast was a little disappointing.

The finishings and furnishings throughout the property are excellent. Fresh, clean and comfortable. We liked the bed pillows so much that we purchased 2 of them to take home!

Taste of eggs benedict wasn't as expected but the restaurant overall was beautiful. I almost would prefer a buffet breakfast instead!

Breakfast was included with our stay. I assumed it was like a brunch but it was a sit down breakfast where you choose one item on the menu and coffee or tea is included. The aesthetic of our eggs benedict was nice and the restaurant itself had a nice view.

We really like the location and the room they provided for us had an exceptional view of the river.We can opened our curtains and the magnificent lights of the Detroit side reflects the water.We are able to do our walking exercises anytime we want to outside the hotel.They had also a delicious menu as well as their wine.The swimming pool also is great as well as the 24 hour fitness.Staffs are helpful.Parking is very convenient as well.

the building is a new building and is centrally. it is right on the waterfront with fantastic views of the Detroit skyline. they also have added security features, with the elevator. for the guests who stay there.

I had to wait for more than half an hour to get checked into the room. There were multiple agents in the front desk but it seemed that only one was working or they were having issues with the system. The pool area was messy and there were a lot of dirty towels in the floor.

The room was really nice and the view was great. It was clean and comfortable.

My remote wouldn't work. After checking and replacing batteries correctly, still no change. I went into hallway, where I'd seen a couple employees working and asked one, who was cleaning adjacent room for help. He said, give me 10 minutes. Never showed. Went out again and caught another employee who took the remote and said she'd return with another. Never showed. Called front desk who said they'd have one delivered. Never showed. An hour later, front desk called and asked if I needed a remote. Had the remote in 5 mins and worked perfectly. Bad evening for the staff.

I checked in as a rewards member but didn’t get the water and cookie on my arrival - Desk person seemed to be rushed although there wasn’t anyone checking in but me.

I loved the view of Detroit from the room and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had soap and shampoo in shower.

Parking was inconvenient & not explained well at check in. Didn’t realize breakfast was extra. The process was not explained at check in and we were super confused.

Shower took forever to warm up. At least 5 full minutes having to run before any warm water started to flow. A/C unit was a little too noisy at night.

Very clean, great amenities, loved the pool for an early morning swim workout. Also a nice gym. Nice decor, modern and updated. Lovely staff.

the only complaint is the body wash in the shower was empty and I had to use the bar of soap. it’s a little dry for the skin

When I checked in they didn’t have the room I reserved available. Considering I booked this room a month in advance I was a little disappointed. Our stay was lovely, clean quite room, comfortable beds, we would definitely stay at this location again.

The quality of the breakfast food was sub-par. But the service was very nice. The shower in the gym/pool changing room needs an update.

A lucky mistake made me book the Hotel, as we wanted to visit a Detroit Lions Game and connected it with a weekend adventure. But even if the Hotel is only 1.4 miles away from Ford Field, it's in a different city and even a different Country. So bring your passport when you make the same “mistake” as me. The hotel is directly at the Detroit River and a beautiful promenade, has a connected Parking Garage for nice parking and a wonderful view for the Detroit Skyline. Everything is super fresh and clean - I assume it's just shortly renovated or new. The very nice service got us not only the warm cookies but also a room on the 16th floor with Waterview and this view was amazing. The bed is comfortable, the pillows amazing and the whole room was very clean. The bathroom has a spacey shower, maybe some illogical errors regarding doors and entrance placement but it worked out. Highlight of the Hotel for us was the well equipped Gym and the pool with a large window front to the Skyline and River which is amazing. The shower in the changing room should be repaired - but that's a minor inconvenience. The breakfast buffet was shared with the Best Western Hotel next door and had the best amazing service I ever had at a breakfast buffet. So nice, caring and up to every
