Building quite new but the decor and fittings not as sophisticated as they could be for this price range. From the description, it's somewhat not clear if a room has ocean views or not. It could have been stated more obviously that all rooms have views of the water. $ return for the initial deposit charge takes longer than expected.

Location right by the water and tge sound of the gently lapping waves while standing on the balcony. Pleasant views over boat marina, opposite island, town lights in the distance. Motel feels quite new. Staff helpful with tourist advice.

Standard motel issues. Neighbors can be loud and nothing helps that. A bit dated but to be expected. Nothing really wrong. All worked fine.

Standard motel in a great location. Nothing special but nothing wrong. Walkable to marina, town, and on the waterfront. Nice folks work here. Good restaurant and bar. Probably just what you need.

Rooms are a bit jaded - but clean and fine for overnight

A good place to stop over night when you get the ferry. Not expensive and reasonable motel. Breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was fabulous

I didn’t like that I was charged for 3 days when I only stayed for one night. Once $230.84 and another charge of $430.84 total of 661.68 on my visa bill.

It was all wonderful I’ve always liked to stay there but I was charged to many times for the one night so I’m very disappointed this time…

Arriving on the spot you see a dated hotel which needs renovation. But room was nice and fresh but a bit expensive

When we checked out the reception area was closed off with no way of dropping off room keys despite notice stating that it would be open from 0500.

It was frustrating that price included breakfast but when we arrived were told breakfast would not be available. There was no adjustment to our price - so we paid for what we did not receive.

The view was great. But, considering the price and no breakfast - it is pricey.

the local restaurant was sometimes slow

The receptionist Leah Holmes was absolutely outstanding. She used to work in local tourist info. As we came without exact plans what to see she elaborated for us a schedule with multiple activities - eg sea kayaking, hiking, whales and grizzly bear watching. Amazing girl with a passion to serve the customer.

We travelled without a car and the place is 20 minutes walk out of Port Hardy. When we arrived at 6.30 pm, surprise, surprise, the restaurant was closed. So, so dinner, no breakfast, not even some plates and cutlery in the room. It would not have been a big effort to warn the guests ahead of time…….. not everyone travels by car. Luckily it was dry, so we walked into the village to get some food.

Beautiful location. Large room, comfortable. Nice view over the water. Very easy if you have a car.

There was no problem in arriving from Prince Rupert ferry at 1am. Breakfast in restaurant was good.

The pub attached to the hotel was closed and this place is expensive. I know we were there in high season (fishing season) and there is lots of demand but hard to justify Vancouver prices.

Well every room has an ocean view. The staff was amazing.
