Cute and retro little spot if you're passing through. Close to restaurants. Staff was friendly and kind. Room was very clean, and warm. All amenities were in good shape, the shower most importantly was hot. The room had tea, coffee, a kettle, fridge and miceowave which was a nice touch. We felt comfortable. Easy check in and out. The motel is about a 10 minute drive from the Dinosaur Museum.

No coffee pot. Thus, no coffee aside from instant and only 2 small packages. No cable, aside from sports network. Hope you remember your passwords for all your apps When trying to go to town. Had to do a circle around the block. Location wasn't really ideal for that, but being on the outskirt also made it closer to a few trails Also, I did not feel safe putting the room key into a cup, I get there are security cameras, but maybe invest in a proper lock box

Checking in and out was easy. The room was neat and tidy. It had everything we required for our one night stay. We slept well, and the price was also a bonus.

It wasn't a bad room, no real issues (we just needed it to sleep really) but it was so funny because there was just a wide open hardwood floored space with a single metal folding chair. No couch, no lounger or any sort of soft chair... Just a single metal folding chair by the wall beside the bed with a huge picture of the NYC Twin Towers... Lol! Wasn't a bad thing, just odd.

The staff were very friendly and very welcoming, and the room was spotlessly clean.

The bed wasn’t the best but it was good enough and the furniture was outdated but that doesn’t much matter to us as everything was there that we needed. The sink is in the main area instead of in the bathroom which can be challenging with kids and trying to get them to go to sleep while we are needing the sink. This is typical of motel rooms though also.

The location was in the center of Drumheller so easy to get everywhere. Restaurants within walking distance. Motel was clean and smelled nice upon arrival.

Bear in mind that the place is a little dated (but is very well maintained, and quite charming). The heating system is a little noisy, but nothing that will ruin your night.

Internet was cutting out a lot. We couldn't keep a connection. Not enough towels (3 towels for 4 people) had to go to front desk next day for more. The two shampoo packets supplied are only enough for one wash each of short hair. I'm not a fan of instant coffee, which is the coffee provided in the room (office had fresh coffee in the mornings if you preferred).

So clean, so happy! I'm always uneasy when booking older motels, especially if there are negative posts of any kind. I booked this motel because there was basically nothing else available in town. When we arrived, the couple at the front desk were so lovely and friendly while checking us in (even tho we got there much later than expected). They gave us a literal key to the room and what a pleasant surprise when we opened that door. Despite the dated decor (felt like stepping onto a retro movie set), the room was spotless and the bedding pristine. This is all we ever really want in a room for our family... well, that and a fridge, which is what we had as well. We highly recommend Hoo-Doo Motel and will definitely be staying here again.

The room was very stuffy/smelly when you first went in, you had to adjust to the smell, other wise, it was liveable for the time we were there.

If there was super excellent option, I would give it. Though its a 2 star hotel, staff was 5 star. Why its 2 star I don't know. Rooms have all you need. Excellent beds, shower, fridge, tv...you name it. I was there for 2 nights but when booked I could not get same room for 2 nights so booked 2 separate rooms with different sizes. So after first night, we prepared to checkout but before packing, staff told us they juggled some other rooms around, and we could remain in same room for 2nd night. Thanks for taking time to help Hoo-Doo Motel.
