The bed is too soft, you can feel your butt sink in the middle. It can get hot in the bathroom as there's no ventilation.

Location is close to everything in Jasper. Staff are friendly and they are all bilingual in French. Bedroom, shower and washroom are all clean. The female-only basement dorm has an ensuite washroom. There's no AC in the basement, but the heat was manageable with the fans they provided, and I slept without duvet to keep myself cool. There's enough room for everyone to open their luggage.

We stayed in a room with 8 beds, there were 3 of us and quiet time is 11pm which is fair but then there were people in the room up at 4am (which I realize people want to get up and go sometimes) but they turned on all the lights and showered in the room instead of using a flash light or going to the shower across the hall. Just seemed super disrespectful to wake everyone up that early... should be a "lights on" time, maybe closer to 6 or 7am. There was also no a/c or any type of white noise in the building which would have helped with the noise from others a lot.

The place was very clean and well maintained. The outside area was lovely and the location was perfect for wandering around Jasper.

The mattresses were really old and worn out. Some dorms face the bar next door which means noise (on Fridays until 2am!). The dorm was quite small for 7 persons, even with the window open the air got stale. There is no real place to chill out. The Wifi is a disgrace. The price is just way too high for what you get.

The bed, the sheets and the bathrooms were clean. The staff was really helpful and nice! There is free parking just down the road and it's a short walk to city center. The kitchen was big and well equipped! All in all a good place to stay to discover Jaaper NP.

Our room was down in the basement and was uncomfortably hot and stuffy at night.

Nice hostel right in the centre of town. Kitchen was big and clean and the place had a nice energy. They also had some free parking for our car out the back which was great

The hotel staff by mistake checked us out before our check out time due to which we lost access to our room late at night. We called emergency and the issue was resolved however it was frustrating at that time of the day.

Cleanliness, location and the rules were perfect to make this place worth a visit. It is also good value for money.

Room S smelt like a barn stable. Likely stinky geusts, but could also be the room itself. Maybe wouldn't hurt to toss an air freshener or something.

Great location and excellent facilities for self catering. We had a suite which was great and the only accommodation so far on a 7.5 week trip that had 2 comfortable chairs in the room avoiding one of us having to sit on the bed. Makes a big difference. Bear's Paw bakery just across the road a must to try for breakfast.
