We had to wait for the host to check in even though we gave our estimated arrival time. Towels, toilet paper, cups were missing, so we had to call the owner to ask for them. The owner didn't speak English very well, so communication was a bit challenging. Shower wasn't working well and was not very clean either. All these wouldn't be much of an issue if the price was not that high. I feel for the prime rate they charge, the accommodation was far from it.

We didn’t have access to a kitchen sink so had to do dishes in the bathroom sink. Doable nonetheless, so just a small inconvenience.

There was no breakfast, which we hadn’t expected. However there was coffee and a fridge, microwave and toaster oven, along with dishes, so we could make our own. The view looking towards Kelowna, over the lake and bridge was lovely. Outdoor furniture to sit and relax in and enjoy the view.

No complaints, although a couple of observations / suggestions… Although the bathroom was fine, I would suggest that there be a body wash/ shower gel instead of just a generic shampoo; Might be a good idea to add one or two luggage racks so that there’s a place to put bags/ luggage; and the wifi code was incorrect, but I received it the next day. All good.

Room was great, nice big window and a comfy bed, great location, nice patio with furniture and deck chairs, and a spectacular view of the lake and Kelowna. Property manager was super friendly and helpful, especially helping and communicating with me when i mentioned I was arriving late.

The Lake View room had the most incredible view of the Okanagan Valley. From the room you could appreciate the view, or you could take a seat on the terrace, or sit in the shared living room on the couch. There were all the comforts of home, a hot shower, a luxurious bed, a tv, a coffee maker. But really, the money maker was the view. And we were the only people staying at the time, so we had the whole place to ourselves which meant we could completely appreciate everything on offer.

The view was fantastic, the furnishings were spot on, and ease of access was incredible for someone not familiar with the area. All in all, a great value.

There is a kitchen in the house, but not meant to be a kitchen for guests’ use. Guests are not welcome to cook. We did get the owner’s approval to fry eggs in the morning, but we had to do it with the BBQ stove in the balcony - so as “not to create an unwanted smell in the house” ! But the owner did initiate to prepare to us a very nice coffee which we appreciated. But at any rate, mind you, this is not really a B & B !

The vacation home has an excellent view of Okanagan Lake and the Kelowna bridge. It is close to quite a few wineries in West Kelowna. But one must have a car as it is far from the town or main tourist areas. Our room is a “Deluxe Family Suite” which is spacious, with a large bathroom and a balcony with an excellent lake view. (However, other rooms may not have en-suite bathrooms.) Our room was clean and comfortable - though there were a lot of owner’s personal stuff in the wardrobes / closets and drawers, meaning we couldn’t use them for our storage - though this wasn’t important to us.

The only thing that I could say is that I forgot to mention to the owner that the AC was either off or not working. I only remembered in the middle of the evening when it was to late. So I do not blame the owner as I didn’t mention it.

The room we first booked was not very private and so he accommodated us for a fee to a much better room. Unless you are ok with a room off the main livingroom with a private bathroom across the hall ... I would.rent the lake view rooms . They. Are excellent and well worth the upgrade.

PLEASE don't try to "upsell" and bargain when people arrive, show people the other options and leave it at that. The "garden view"is VERY inaccurate.

Some dishes are provided but there is no place to wash them other than the bathroom sink. Not much in the way of kitchen facilities. If you want to watch TV you have to download a Youtube App to your phone and follow owner instructions from there - not a viable option for many.

Location and view are fabulous. Rooms are large. Outside patio is great.

Shower was too high from floor , doors squeaked, shower floor slippery (should provide a bath mat). Not enough towels provided including no face cloths. Owner had lose dogs on property where we sat outside as they defocated while we were eating outside on patio.

We stayed in the cheapest (but still pricey) room which was the Garden View room and had to walk across the hall to the bathroom. My husband did not like having to answer the door and answer questions about the house. The mattress was VERY FIRM (way too hard for us!). Dogs were cute but noisy.

The view of the lake and Kelowna was superb!! We loved sitting on the balcony taking in the view! We appreciated the cappuccinos that the host made for us. Close to several vineyards. Host was very friendly but his English was hard to understand.

A bit too far out of town for us, you have to have a car. We'd prefer a walk to a bar or restaurant but just not possible here. I noticed after we left our booking was B&B but no breakfast had been offered. Small kitchenette. Minimal equipment. Not even a knife to cut a slice of bread!

Minor issue with the shower door as it would not stay closed and we had did not know how to use ChromeCast. Basic TV channels were not available.

The initial room that we booked was too small for our needs and we upgraded to the basement suite which was more appropriate for most people with luggage. the deck was great and it was private.
