How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Liked everything about the hotel. Would definitely stay again.
Two queen size beds separated by a wall, like two small rooms with no door. Bathroom was small. Breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Steps to enter property can be a challenge for some
Location, Cleanliness of property,charming room. EXCELLENT breakfast service. Extremely helpful,friendly, knowledgeable staff.

The room was very small, with odd furnishings. The breakfast was just OK, with an attendant who watched you like a hawk. You didn’t dare step one inch over the yellow tape on the floor to check out the croissants in the bin.
The location is excellent. Parking is nearby.

Parking was a bit far and we had to pay $20/day.
Cozy and cute room. Proximity to restaurants and places we wanted to see couldn’t be better. We loved it!

We really were hoping it had AC since it stated it did. When I asked about it, they said it will get cooler because of the brick on the inside of the room. We really wished it had AC. We made it work and we would definitely stay here again, but we are hot natured and are very used to having AC. Breakfast was very good and so many options were a treat everyday! We really wished there were more English-speaking channels (Particularly ESPN type channels) so we could watch NCAA College Football Games . . Even though we were on vacation and out exploring most of the time, we love to watch TV at night.
The hotel is beautiful and is in a perfect location. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room had a great view because we were on a corner and were able to see out 2 sides of windows.

EXCELLENT location - we only got back in our car to visit the Falls 20 min away. Parking is off site but only around the block and very convenient. Great staff...helpful and courteous!

Just the tub
Location! Perfect. Staff, amazing. We had a lovely room on the top floor and a great view which was so charming. Only issue - tub had very old non-slip strips in the tub. The 1st morning, I started the water, waited for it to warm and stepped into the tub…my feet flipped out from under me and I fell backwards between the sink & toilet. Fortunately not terribly hurt. A simple rubber mat would have prevented this.

It was all good
A well sited Hôtel both for the old town and access to theatres Excellent communication from owner. We were in Room 24 which was marginally small for the amount of luggage we had. The room was exceptionally clean and the whole hotel was in very good decorative order. Breakfast seating a little cramped but a plentiful assortment of continental breakfast items and helpful and efficient waiting staff.

Room was too warm for our liking. We didn’t have the ability to change the temperature as it was one for the whole hotel.

Perfect location. Very accommodating service—stored luggage for early morning arrival from cruise ship. Ordered a dependable cab for very early morning departure. Extremely clean room, quiet and super comfy bed.

The location was perfect for gettingng around the old city of Quebec. We were able to walk everywhere and leave the car parked for three days. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend.

Our room - #51 was on the busy main street side but got quiet as it got later. The room is above the dining room area. They start set up very early (5a) and can hear the carts being wheeled around beneath the room.
Great location, parking in under ground garage across the street ( for a fee). Very decent breakfast - crepes, yogurt, sausage/bacon, fresh croissant/pastries, cereal, cheese, hard boiled eggs, fruit, many coffee options.

Everything was good.
The location was excellent! It was close to many restaurants and shopping. Added bonus, if you are in to Quebec's military history its located in walking steps to La Citadelle. Very clean hotel, staff was very friendly.
