The included breakfast was different from what I’ve ever seen. There were nice foods offered, but waitstaff hovered over everything. Guests were not free to get their food from the buffet themselves- even down to pouring syrup on my pancakes and milk on my cereal. They make your coffee, but don’t carry it to the table. Lots of guests were awkwardly standing around waiting to be handed food that we could easily get ourselves. Also, there were signs everywhere telling the guests what to do and not to do. It didn’t feel relaxing, since we were afraid of doing something wrong.

The location is terrific-within the old city walls, which is what we wanted.. Staff were, without exception, lovely and helpful. The breakfast was great! Our room was on the top floor, which meant we had a gabled roof to contend with, but the room was a reasonable size, nonetheless. There is daily housekeeping, which is a bit of a luxury now, and we appreciated. Would certainly recommend this place.

Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Rooms were exactly as pictured on the website. Very clean rooms. Location was great, parking was close by, pull up to hotel to drop off luggage and then drove around the block to park withg an access card to get in and out at any time.

The steps were a little high and some floors uneven, but recognizing this is a heritage building that is not unexpected.

Breakfast was excellent and the wait staff were very pleasant and attentive. Front Desk staff were very pleasant, accommodating and helpful.

The location was perfect for getting around to all parts of the city. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.There was a continental breakfast offered in the morning.

This hotel is in a wonderful location on the edge of old QC within easy walking distance of all the attractions. This means it has the advantage of being quiet at night while also being a historic hotel so you know where you are. The staff were friendly, rooms were clean, and breakfast was simple but good with lots of options for differing tastes. We loved our stay and will recommend this hotel to family and friends!

Location is central for tourists looking to see the old town and other parts of Quebec City. Everything is walkable including Saint Roche and the Plains of Abraham as well as the old town.

The Wi-Fi was a tad dotty. You couldn't always get it and it would go out.

The location couldn't be beat. It was in the heart of the Old City. The room was large with 3 large windows and very comfortable. We were able to walk everywhere.

AC was too cold. Folks in next room returned at 3 a.m. and made noise.... Bumped head on slanted ceiling. Rather expensive. Stressful to know if you lost parking card you'd pay so much money. Perhaps could handle this another way?<

Everyone on staff was so nice and very helpful. Breakfast was good. So wonderful to be able to walk everywhere.

The room was lacking in electrical outlets. Would've been helpful to know ahead how hard it would be to get parked in front of the hotel for dropping off luggage, and where the parking garage was.

The rooms were unique and really gave you the atmosphere of being in an old home. Bonus that there was an elevator as we were on the 4th floor. Location of the hotel was amazing, very central to every where we wanted to walk to. Staff was very friendly and helpful with our questions. Breakfast was very good, and the staff there were very welcoming and friendly.

The majority of staff could not have been more helpful. There is free tea and coffee in reception in lieu of facilities in the rooms, sadly this is not accessible after 9:00pm. The breakfast was fresh, and options were good. Room was clean and well maintained. The hotel was well located but would suggest taking a taxi to it as it is all up hill from the train station.

The breakfast was a little odd, but we got used to it and the people staffing the restaurant were very polite and helpful.

Amazing location Quaint old fashioned property but fitted with some great modern touches. The aircon was amazing! So quiet you barely knew it was on, but very effective.

The only negative was that it was initially difficult to identify the hotel because the photo made it appear much bigger than it was.

The hotel is in a FABULOUS location, just inside the walled city and within walking distance to everything one would want to visit in the city. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, and there was great emphasis on hygiene.

Would have given a 10, but the coffee machine in the room wasn't working properly. Staff immediately checked on and fixed the coffee machine and two other small issues in the room when we told them about it. Coffee machine worked once after the fix and then didn't work again. We really liked this hotel overall. Don't let the coffee machine stop you from coming here. They serve coffee every morning from 7:30-10:30 in the complimentary breakfast area.

Location is excellent for exploring Old Quebec. Staff is attentive and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and offered lots of choices. Bed was very comfortable. Close to many sightseeing spots and restaurants.

The breakfast was great and the service and kindness was exceptional. Location was perfect just on the outskirts of Old Town but not in the messiness. Access to parking was perfect. Thank you for the coffee and tea in the lobby.
