How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Just the smell
Great hotel very clean. Third floor had a bad odor but the staff was able to move me to a different room. Staff was amazing but something needs to be done about the smell instead of masking it with spray

I really enjoyed the jet tub with the queen bed and living room. Nice staff, very welcoming food, and bar was pretty good over all no complaints

There was a problem with the key card not working so we couldn’t get into the room. Staff were excellent and accommodating to have us entry. The continental breakfast was kind of lame though.
It was average and was comfortable enough.

Booking.com algorithm or whatever it is they do to track is frustrating. When I first looked, the price was 99 dollars for the night (plus tax) and in a matter of 10 minutes and by the time I was able to reach my son to confirm his stay, they have upped the price to 10 dollars more and I ended up paying the higher price. Very disappointing.

I thought the breakfast could have had some protein options.

You can hear what's happening in the rooms around you. Either the people were too loud (all of them) or the walls were not as thick or I have supernatural powers.

I experienced significant noise disturbance from a neighboring room on the 4th floor. A group of young adults were having a birthday party with loud music that could be heard clearly from the elevator, accompanied by excited shouting. The noise began around 11:30 pm on December 20th and was still ongoing at 12:45 am on December 21st. We called the front desk at 11:45 pm, and they assured us they would address the situation. However, when the noise continued, we went downstairs at 12:30 am to follow up with the front desk staff. Eventually, staff did come up and ask the guests to quiet down. The noise subsided around 1:30 am. The following day, as an apology for the inconvenience, the hotel staff provided us with a complimentary breakfast upgrade.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay! I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade to a small suite, which added a nice touch to my stay. While the continental breakfast was a bit limited, the upgraded breakfast I received was quite tasty. Overall, I found the hotel comfortable and enjoyable. I will definitely be staying here again!

Got no sleep, the first floor is very noisy rooms need to be better insulated or moved away from staff areas where there are cleaning supplies etc.

Our only issue was our room had a hot tub which could definitely have been cleaner. There was actually a used bandaid sitting on side of tub and an area under the handles in tub with a nasty soap and dirt buildup but wasn't visible till already in tub. We spoke to cleaning the next morning and pointed it out. She apologized and we didn't make huge deal out of it. Everyone has a bad day sometimes.
The staff was very friendly, hotel itself could use a bit of updating but was fine for us. Bed was nice and comfy. We also ate at the on-site restaurant, food was very good. Our server, was phenomenal. She was friendly, funny and we enjoyed our conversations with her. Sorry, I cannot remember her name.

Carpet looked like it needs replacing. Old stains & worn very evident. Heater only had 2 temperatures…60 & 90 degrees so I had to keep getting up to turn on & off. Smokers were smoking outside but right at front door entrance under the entranceway cover. Wifi should have a password for guests for security purposes.
Quick friendly check in. Free & easily accessible parking. Vending machine snacks & drinks available. Room & bed layout was as described. Bed was clean & comfy. TV remote was easy to use. Bathroom toiletries & towels were sufficient.
