How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Sadly there was a soccer tournament and the kids were loud. Playing ball in the hallway, slamming doors and running back and fourth till late enough. Made it a little unpleasant and spoke with other guests that felt the same.
The staff was polite and friendly. The pool is nice just a bit deep for younger children. The room was clean. We got lucky and got close parking. The breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, bacon and yogurt.

There was a smell in the lobby the moment we entered the premises. Heard other guests complaining as well. We came back to the room on the second evening of our stay and didn’t find water bottles. Asked for it, was told that it’s too late(was around 10:30) felt a bit weird that hotel won’t give water. Thankfully I had water bottles in my car. Though tired, walked back to the car and got my family some water bottles from my car. While getting back the door for the lobby(after you enter from parking try to open another door to the lobby where rooms are there) just wasn’t reading the cards. Overall felt that the hotel was broken and in a mess. Would be my last time with Radisson.

That there wasn't a hot tub site needs to be updated. And the TV remote wouldn't change the. TV to hdmi so we could watch a movie.

Probably needs more staff supporting the Restaurant. Breakfast items would run out quickly and the customers would be left waiting for replenishments. In the room, the bathroom did not seem to have an effective exhaust system; which meant it got pretty foggy / stuffy inside.
Central location within the Elm Place mall. Lots of eateries near by. 10-min drives to Dynamic Earth / Science North. Good staff.

The water in the pool was very chlorinated but warm.
We like this hotel. Very decent hotel particularly for the price we paid. Room is very regular but with everything you need: fan and iron , coffee machine and strong shower 🚿 with massage options 😁. Breakfast was very good, ice machine was on the floor. And everything was working well!!!!

Built in electrical outlets to desk and lamp did not work, they were all worn out. Was looking forward to the hot tube but it was made into a planter, treadmill did not work. Fitness center did not open till 7am. Free breakfast did not start till 7am, both too late for schedule.
Staff where great, room was well kept and clean. Nice TV in the room. Room was clean and comfortable.

A little dated. Mall doesn’t have much except a theatre.
Very convenient. Right downtown near lots of restaurants. Attached to mall which has a theatre. Has pool and restaurant. Good value for price.

Parking for guests is limited and the amount of homeless ,street people around the outside could make you feel uncomfortable. We had no trouble, but it could easily be worse.

I really did not dislike anything. It is an older hotel, so one needs to accept that. But it is super clean, well maintained, staff are doing their very best, cleaning around the clock, are friendyl, and the place has great great amenities. Especially pool and gym are super!
It is a great spot in downtown Sudbury with restaurants and train station in walking distance and fulfills all the standards you would expect from Radisson. While the hotel is older, staff aims to keep everything maintained as well as possible. Having breakfast included was a plus!

The online site was not represented properly. We paid extra for a larger room as indicated in extra sq footage only later to be told it wasn’t bigger it just has a balcony lol who wants a balcony in the middle of the winter?
Breakfast was very well executed and nice seating for an early start to our morning, tea/coffee at the front desk was also very convenient

No jacuzzi. Eggs at breakfast were over cooked.
