The room had a musty smell like in very old hotels. The pillows were too soft and felt well used, we needed to use two pillows when we normally use only one. Some of the furniture looked overused. The bathroom in general and fixtures looked very dated from the 1970’s. Overall we felt the hotel looked and felt very dated and in need of a renovation. We didn’t feel we got value for what we paid. At best the hotel was just adequate for our short stay. Based on these conditions we will not return to the hotel on our next trip to Sudbury.

The location was central to all our destinations, and very convenient to all the downtown restaurants. The bed was comfortable.

swimming pool was under maintenance. Had booked because of swimming pool and was expecting some kind of remuneration but wasn't offered any. On the day of the arrival, the manager called and said that the pool is under maintenance and we can cancel if we want. At the check-in i asked if there is something that can be done instead (due to pool maintenance on the day of), I was told that you had time to cancel the booking as the manager called in the morning (how can i cancel on the arrival day and find something else!). they could have offered some discounts but they didn't

The bathroom door didn't close properly. The breakfast was mediocre. The restaurant was nice and the staff were very friendly. However the prices were way too high for what we got and there wasn't much to choose from. There were so many homeless people hanging out in front of the hotel, we were afraid our truck would get broken into. However the staff assured us they had security patrolling the lot and nothing happened to our truck.

The beds were very comfortable and our room was clean. The staff were very nice. We didn't have any issues with noise either.

The AC in our room didn’t work and neither did the microwave. The door in the bathroom is awkward especially when trying to shower a toddler

We didn't like that our room was not very clean. They charged 25$ by night for a dog, but the carpet was full of dog hair when we arrived. I understand the charge for the pet fee, but it should be used to do a good vacuum cleaning. Otherwise, we appreciate that it's a dog friendly hotel. We ate at the restaurant during the evening and the food was not very good. I'll rate my meal at 2/5. But the staff was friendly.

There was a lot of space in the room! We took a big king bed with a balcony. The bed was comfortable. We also appreciate the facility (gym and pool), and they look cleans The breakfast was style continental. Plenty of selection of food (cereal, eggs, saussice, yogourt, juice, coffee, toast, bagel, muffin), we were full after breakfast. Friendly staff, very polite and professional. It was a quiet hotel, and we appreciate our stay. Thank you!

Front parking lot very small - difficult to drive through- cars parked everywhere. Wouldn’t want to be towing a trailer. Overflow parking is available in mall parking garage. Limited to size of vehicle. Had trouble accessing hotel from parking garage. Doors wouldn’t unlock when using card reader. TV cable wasn’t working properly. Couldn’t bring breakfast muffins etc back to room.

Location was central to restaurants, science north and dynamic earth. Rooms were spacious and clean.

The shower head was full of mold. There was A PILE of cigarette butts left on the balcony. I see that is a good place to smoke but the maid did not clean it up before my arrival. I slept in worst but for a paid night at “radisson” this wasn’t expected I prefer the comfort inn. Highly.
