How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

TV was a little small for the size of the room.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, great all around service! Mattresses gave us the best night’s sleep in a hotel that we’ve ever had, and no noisy heaters or fans kicking on in the middle of the night. Very little hall noise. Great location for visiting Langley Events Centre.

Nothing and if I was to add one thing, it would be to have yogurt and fruit at the coffee area from 6 to 9 (fruit as in apples and bananas - nothing cut up and fancy - just a bit of a snack. Maybe BC apples and Canadian yogurt…
Excellent location and really great to have Moxies right onsite.

The TV remote was a bit basic and did not have the option to directly find the guide or go to channels quickly. Lighting in the bathroom was quite dark and there was no mirrors in the room with windows, which would have helped with getting ready/makeup etc.
The bed was amazing and the complimentary upgrade really made our stay fantastic!

The tub looked like maybe it had been missed in the cleaning before we arrived. The room wasn't fully restocked when we requested it the couple of times during our stay.
It was very close to the events we were in Langley for, as well as an event held at the hotel. Beds were comfortable and since we were traveling for a dog event it was great that it was dog friendly.

We had zero complaints for the one night we were there!
Location was ideal for what we needed (close location to the wedding venue we attended) We loved the comfortable bed and spacious suite. Front desk was even kind enough to let us check in half an hour earlier.

The room was newly renovated and beautiful!!! … but my daughters bed made a loud sound every time she moved… (possibly the wood in the box spring) and it woke me up every time she moved. I didn’t sleep well because of that. Libby was run down looking, assuming that still to be updated. Only one clerk to check in, so it was a long wait.

The only thing that was bad was there was no breakfast readily available. You have to preorder it by 8pm. Choices are not child friendly. No restaurants around either

The room we were upgraded to was beautiful! And I appreciate it so much! However the bathroom sink would not drain - nobodies fault but may want to have someone check it out! We did call when we checked in and also reminded at checkout.
Staff were super friendly! Easy check in and easy check out. Halls and entry look very nice. Staff are quick to help!

Food was left in the refrigerator from I'm guessing the previous person who stayed in the room.
Room was clean and comfortable. It was fairly quiet and the staff were helpful and personable. I ordered room service and the young man that brought the order was excellent.

A washer and dryer in our room!! We were upgraded to a corporate suite, I think they call it. As a hockey family, having a washer and dryer in the room was pure luxury. The entire suite was perfect. I love a good tub, great kitchenette and comfy bed. This checked all the boxes and then some! It will be our go to hotel for hockey tournaments.

As it’s next to the highway it’s quite loud with traffic but fine for one night.
Location was good for a one night stop off, prior to getting the ferry to Vancouver Island the next day. The hotel is just off the highway and the gym/pool facilities are good. We were also upgraded without request at check in which was nice!

Moxie's was being renovated which was a bit of a bummer but it didn't affect our stay at at all.
