we were on the noisy side of the hotel with trains going by constantly even during the night . there was a noise counselling unit that helped . area was a bit rough with many homeless people in the area

Nothing to dislike. If really picky, the beside lamp didn't work but swapped it with the other side lamp. The plug in that socket was a little loose. No indication of room service menu or even a few details on hotel amenities. But very minor details

Loved the balcony, the cleanliness of the room. Very relaxing and the trains didn't bother me at all but might bother some.

City view is train noise 24/7 or every hour . Looking worn. Love seat in our suite was horribly worn. Couldn’t sit on it as it was SO uncomfortable.

The 2 restaurants, Starbucks across the way. Lobby was great Staff very good !

It is a great location, and the on-property amenities make it the best place to stay in Kamloops. If a quiet room is important to you, then opt for a park-view room away from the train.

Some damage to our room was evident upon checking in. Other than that, all was well equipped and comfortable.

Wonderful check in experience with the Managers oversight. Comfortable amenities and beds and central location, located next to the park and near the river/beach.

The only cons are that Kamloops downtown doesn't seems to be the best place to stay and that the 500$ of the prepayment were not refunded accordingly to what we where told. The info was that the money would have been given back automatically at the check out but they arrived 6 days later. Not a major problem but when I tried to contact the hotel about it I didn't received any answear

The room was good and clean, we had a kitchen and an amazing bathroom. It's located in front of a nice park facing the river. Even if when we arrived the luggages of the Rocky mountanier arrived and there was a bit of chaos we received a detailed and fully explanatory check in

We only stayed one night passing through. The room was nice and had a view of the park next to the rivers which we really enjoyed visiting. I would stay at this hotel again!

A few fixtures and fittings needed minor repairs. The swimming pool was freezing and the hot tub did not work well.

Convenient location with free parking in the city centre. The room was a great size and very comfortable. We were on the city side, next to the train line. We didn’t have a problem with the train noice but for light sleepers there is a white noice machine in your room which I thought was a great touch.

Our room faced a train track, and there are long, noisy cargo trucks passing by throughout the night. A/c unit in the room was also very old and noisy. Between these two issues, we had a hot and noisy night that affected some of our families sleep. I’ve read other reviews since we stayed saying you should ask for a park side room to be away from the train tracks, but to me, this should be raised by the staff when you check in, as we didn’t know it was an issue.

Room was big and pool/hot tub were a nice bonus. Having two restaurants on site was also useful - we ate in the sports bar which was great.

Aircon in room was very noisy, outdoor part of restaurant had music playing at volume level making conversation impossible, but this got rectified by staff when pointed out

Asked for accommodations for 3. By the time we realized the sofa was not a sofa bed it was too late. Not super comfy sleep for one of us . (Me! )
