We are not expecting the 'ritz' when we book at Super8, however here were not enough plug-ins to accommodate the 2 bedside table lamps, coffee maker, fridge and clock. We found a multi-plug on top of the fridge (not plugged in,) but decided to deal with one only lamp and no clock. Not an inconvenience for us really, but an FYI

Clean, comfortable bed. A quick breakfast is very convenient.

No elevator, it is only 2 floors. The unit was near the stairs and could easily hear people constantly taking them. The dove soap bars suck (minor).

Not high end at all but the price is well worth the trade off. Why pay twice as much for a luxury stay for one night. Will be back

We need gluten-free choices, so breakfast was not an option for us; however, I think that the breakfast options improve during the peak seasons. The room price was so good that not being able to have breakfast at the Super 8 was no big deal.

I can always depend on the Super 8 in Kamloops to be basic but clean and tidy. The bathroom was more spacious than I expected and still had a bathtub in which I could indulge: so many hotel rooms seem to be getting rid of bathtubs in favour of showers only. The price for the two of us was excellent and the location is ideal.

The room was a bit cold on our arrival, and the a/c was a bit old-styled, having a big unit located under the window and generating quite some wind while warming up the whole space. Besides that, everything was fine :)

We only had an overnight stop there. The beds and the room were clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast featured some gluten-free options (cereals and most of the other things, gf. bread was not included, though). We haven't used any of the hotel's facilities besides the breakfast, so we can't comment on that :)

Was what we expected. No issues

Solid and basic room in an older property right off the highway. There is some fast food within walking distance and an EV fast charger across the street. Staff was friendly and accommodated our request for a quieter room.

The luggage cart had a flat tire, so it was hard to use.

The king size bed mattress in room 125 is used to the point that it slumps in the middle and makes for a less than ideal sleep. Not a comfortable bed whatsoever. The curtains did not provide enough light blocking from the bright outdoor lights just above the window. Being on the ground floor means you can hear the folks in the upper level room (luckily they settled early & it was not a real disturbance).

The staff are very courteous. The room was clean & relatively quiet as it faced the back of the property (as requested). Plenty of hot water to take a bath (the bathtub was comfortable). The location is close to many amenities.

Nothing negative

This dog friendly property fit the bill for our Kamloops stay: we were exploring the outdoors during most of the day, and wanted a clean, well priced place to lay our heads at night. Bonus to have a simple brekkie provided: boiled eggs, yogurt and cream cheese for protein and bread and bagels for toast, in a clean breakfast room. I brought my own apple and had a good start to the day. They also had a well lit area for dogs.

No complaints

We stayed one night and it was comfortable. Breakfast was nice with a good variety of items including waffles. Hotel is very close to Aberdeen dog park a short drive up the hill. If are travelling with a dog I highly recommend this Super 8 by Wyndham as you can take your pet for a nice place to run and exercise.
