Very small bunks with almost no space for a suitcase. Cold showers and dirty dishes in the kitchen. It's not possible to lock his bunk from the outside.

Much privacy for a hostel. The design of the hostel is cozy with a few nice couches and a tv.

Wish it was a bit closer to Invermere/Panorama, but otherwise it's good. Hot water takes a while.

Always enjoy a pleasant and quiet stay here. Gentlemen at the desk was nice, and there were only a couple others staying in the hostel.

I would’ve liked to have been able to lock my room while I was out. There’s only an internal chain-lock which I definitely had to use because multiple people got curious and popped their heads in. I also came back from being out for the day a few times to my door slightly ajar and/or light turned on, both of which I was diligent about closing/turning off on my way out.

Good location, well priced, decent rooms for a hostel style set up. Would stay again.

The bugs inside the hostel. This was my second time staying here. There were no bugs last time. There were bugs in culinary drawer, the freezer (somehow it was still alive) and on the counter tops. We didn’t find or see any bugs outside the kitchen area. When I say bugs, I don’t mean one or two, there was quite a few and they came out at night. Management should consider bug traps. The one type of beetle is harmless, but still there was way too many. I did report the issue and was told a note would be left. Hopefully, this concern is addressed in a timely fashion. We will consider stay there again in the future, as it’s a super cute hostel.

Great location. Friendly staff. The private pods are very comfortable. Comes with bedding and towels. Showers have shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Great hostel, it almost looks new! The bathrooms were clean, same for the toilets, the beds were very private (with a curtain or a door). Would definitely stay here again!

The sleeping bunk was secure but very small. I was happy with it; some might find it tiny.

My expectations were for a place to sleep. The Orchard hostel exceeded this expectation.

When we arrived the hostel was pretty dirty, but we went to the reception and they immediately dealt with the problem and took absolute great care of us.

We cannot say to much about the hostel. We booked a hostel room, but due to some complications got upgraded to a private room which was absolutely great! Newly renovated, very clean and with all the amenities we needed!

Made a small complaint about somebody turning on the air conditioning to 18 celcius, the staff didn’t do any intervention. Some guests arrive at 23h30 and made noise ++ Nobody ( guest ) lock the access to the Hostel

1. I called prior to my arrival asking if I could get a rate that matched what was currently listed online because I was debating being able to even travel and I have very little money. The guy ended up saying yes and "I'll change your rate right now" and I was relieved because every little bit helps. Well, it turns out that it never actually changed, so I was all excited and happy for no reason and now feel betrayed. I know it was above and beyond and I shouldn't have expected it but he told me he did so that was just a bummer. 2. I woke up drenched in sweat every 45-60 minutes, even with the fan on and blankets off. I didn't get much sleep because it was so hot and it's just never nice to sleep in a puddle of sweat all night

The front desk guy when I checked in was great and very helpful, as well as the guy in the morning who answered a few questions about roads and tickets wonderfully. There was a coffee maker and grounds so I was very happy. Also the place is beautiful inside and the view from the back patio is gorgeous.

Just that the balconies floor and railings were needing repair.

We loved the cleanliness and comfort. It is well designed. Bunks were private and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked. They even supplied towels and body soap, shampoo and conditioner was in each shower. I've been to 25 hostels in several countries and this was a great find. 👍

A lock for the room would have made things more comfortable for when we were out of our room. As some of the luggage could not fit in the locker provided.

Was a bit cramped and when you have like even a small suitcase each which is standard it then becomes very cramped in the room there is option to put underneath bit I don't want that effort everytime of getting both off the bed to get something. The bed was a tad short and let in a lot of light meaning I barely got any sleep over the 4 nights being there. The floor was always dirty so I had dirty feet when going to bed and then there was a builder there leaving screws and equipment in and out and making noise
