CanadaSome of the staff seemed inexperienced. The Skal Lounge was overpriced. The shower curtain was short and the tub leaked all the water onto the floor so we had to use a towel dam
The hotel is undergoing renovations and you can tell that they will be nice. The beds were comfortable. The room was nice but wasn’t finished. It was by the exit at the very end of the hall which was perfect. We were right under the airport and we barely heard it. The Skal lounge was delicious. There was a lot of parking.

Canadano sure why this hotel is designed this way. there is one main elevator and if your room is 360, you basically have to walk pass 60 rooms to get to it. so don’t book if you have heavy luggage without rollers. I have a dog. I wish I was assigned ground floor closer to the doors.

The room was super clean, very nice appearance, and the facilities were well maintained. They were under construction, but still everything felt very clean. The staff were really helpful and polite and the pool was great!

CanadaThere were natives all over the place drunk, laying on couches in the foyer. The security guards were all natives. Didn't feel very security when they where all circled around each other. This place has turned into another shit hole hotel over run by natives.

CanadaI had to book at the last minute and didn’t check in till 1a.m and the rate for that night was over 200.00 which I found ridiculous since I always stay there. Ended up getting my next 3 nights for much less on booking.com. As I single person I feel safe at your hotel and is convenient as I come by bus. The staff was amazing and I even buy them chocolates since they really are good!

CanadaCheck in took over 30 minutes due to not having my reservation on their computer..!! I was tired as I just got done my 4pm-midnight shift at work and I wasn't able to drive home due to the highway closures. I'm a health care worker and I was treated like I wasn't welcome in this hotel. I was given a confused look when I arrived to check-in..no friendly greeting & no sympathy for being stranded in town during the winter storm! Will not stay here again, would rather take my business elsewhere!

CanadaKindly read and address all my concerns. Thank You. 1. My last stay turned into a nightmare when some young guests and their friends stayed in a room next to mine on the 4th floor. They were obviously drinking, which led to a lot of loud talking, singing , dancing, door slamming, loud music , in the room , in the hallway . This went from 6 pm back to after 11pm. They were in and out of the room just completely disregarding the comfort of other guests. I called the front desk 3 times for help. By the third call I was close to tears especially because I knew I had to get up at 2 a.m. to catch an early flight. One of the worst nights I have spent at the Valhalla. I deserve a complimentary stay after what I went through. I got 2 hours of sleep that night. Horrible. 2. I have stayed at the Valhala at least 6 or more times in the past few months. I have found that the last 3visits, the sink was clogged. Mind you all different rooms. Odd. Shower gel bottle is empty. Hair in tub. 3. Finally I had a negative experience with a front desk agent , initial of first name is V, I think. I had come in one late night exhausted from a delayed flight from Toronto, I go to this agent, she checks my ID and abruptly tells me there is nothing under my name and pushes my ID back at me. Now I know I was booked by my school board, who also gives Valahall much business . I said can you check again, I could sense she didn't want to be bothered with me , she takes my ID checks and then says there nothing under your name and pushes my ID back at me. She did not want to help. So I sat down because I was feeling upset by her dismissal , let my colleague go before me who got her room, then I got up to try again and as I head towards her she tells me quickly that the other agent will handle it . And pretty much packs up and leaves immediately. She was rude and dismissive, and I have avoided allowing her to attend to me ever since.
Been a regular at the Valhalla since 2013. I often stay here with my dog , or for work reasons, conferences, student trips, etc. I like the location and that it's pet friendly. Some of the staff, especially the Saw, Tom, and Mike are great. There is another driver who is great but I don't know his name. Some of the new staff are also very nice. The Skal restaurant had good food too. I also like that there is a shuttle every half an hour and that it's very close to the airport. I will continue to stay at the Valhalla as long as I am in the North.

CanadaI could hear the other rooms conversation, thin walls, also window faced airport so could hear planes landing until 9:30pm. Very dark room needs better lighting.
Staff very friendly at front desk and restaurant, bed is comfy, clean room although a bit of water stain (pink residue) around drain of bathtub, rest was very clean.
