How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing, it was great for the night.
We were just passing through & needed 1 night. Great location. Spacious room. Toiletries provided were nice. Friendly helpful staff. Decent breakfast in the morning.

Bed was comfortable but sqeeky everytime you moved, the airconditioning unit was very loudy and clanky whne on so did not have on which made the room very warm as you cannot open windows at all.
Very big open rooms, lots of space an ammenities. Easy parking onsite or underground. Plenty of breakfast choices for all and space to eat. Good hotel facilities (washers, gym/fitness suite, pool etc.) .

The breakfast selection of food needs to be modified so that not all the same foods are available every day.
The location is excellent. Access to transit is very close. Walking to nearby restaurants is right there. The staff are very friendly.

Breakfast was poor.
Nice rooms, good location but breakfast wasn’t up to scratch. You’re better off skipping breakfast and getting food elsewhere.

In room coffee and tea very limited abd poor choices. No coffee shop and no restuarant on premises. Had to go next door for dinner which was actually very good. Heads up for Romeos.
Reasonable overnight stay on way through to Vancouver. Staff were not particularly helpful unfortunately. Breakfast was OK, but great if you like waffles and syrup (not even maple syrup).

Really I think the only thing that was a slight inconvenience was the pull out bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. Although, if I'm really nit picking, the pool is quite small and there wasn't really room to swim with all the little kids doing cannonballs and jumping in.
I loved the location. I didn't have to go right in to town and everything you need is in walking distance ie drugstore, dollar store, restaurants, etc. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. I loved that they have laundry facilities because we were able to dry our bathing suits after swimming. We liked that there was a pool and hot tub. I loved that they have underground parking so I felt safe to leave my vehicle there. I like that they offer complimentary breakfast.

Though it is listed as having a pool it was very small. Also families hsd filled it up with their kids so no chance of using it

There could be more room in the breakfast area as it was a little congested.
The rooms were comfortable. the location was ideal for our short stay and we would certainly book again.

Location wasn't great. Not a ton to do in the area.
The room was clean and service was prompt. Was nice to have a pool and a complimentary breakfast. Just needed a place to stay a few nights and it met that requirement perfectly.

To far to get food without using automobile.
Very nice Hotel but Kamloops prices are a little high. Hard to justify that price for a stay. Hotel is clean easy to access. Its a bit hard to get food without using your vehicle. Pet area is basically out on the street.

Everything was great!
The room was very updated/modern and clean. Bed linens were plush and lovely. The room was nice and quiet. Breakfast the next morning consisted of waffles, eggs, sausages, fruit, juice and coffee. (Self serve buffet). The breakfast room was very busy with lots of families enjoying their breakfast.

Room appeared clean, however; coffee maker had a used coffee pack in it; n tissues in the bathroom - just an empty box; piece of plastic trim on the shower needed to be reattached; the toilet tissue holder was loose and will soon fall off.
Breakfast choices were excellent, busy and enjoyed by many guests. Did not see a single staff member (wiping tables, cleaning food dispensers or topping up choices during the 20 minutes we were there.
