Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We had a slight problem with our room which was immediately resolved within seconds. Kim was the nicest staff member myself and my husband had ever come across. She gave us complimentary drinks, a new room and breakfast because of the inconvenience caused. Not only that she took the time to guide us to touristic destinations to visit. Every staff member we came across was extremely friendly, welcoming and made us feel special! Because of the service alone, I highly recommend staying in this hotel. Location is great minutes away from the center and train station too :)

We we're only staying in Zurich for one night. We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is a short walk to the Zurich HB. We wish we had more time to eat at the restaurant. The hotel has a great vibe and the staff was wonderful.

Nothing in particular. It's not cheap, but this is Zurich, and there's worse. There was a little mix-up with our invoice, but got resolved quickly.
This hotel is in an excellent location, especially for dining and nightlife, and within walking distance of the train station. Nice, clean, modern rooms, friendly staff and state-of-the-art facilities.

Only thing I could say I didn’t like is that it was pricey. But so were most hotels in the same area.
The location was excellent! Right in the center of a lively district at night and walking distance from Old Town. Loved the design, it’s very unique and chic. The room was nice, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Breakfast was good. Staff were nice and accommodating.

Paying the deposit during my stay, i was unaware i would have to do that and had to go down to the reception and pay it again on like night 3 or 4 since their system got messed up. Had to ask for room service if I wanted it that day.
Room had a view of langstrasse which was cool. Working air conditioning in zurich is a luxury. Great extra amenities in the room to use during your stay (e.g. speaker, friday tote bag). A free mini fridge with actually a nice selection of drinks and 1 pack of nuts and chocolate. Staff was nice.

Natalia was very helpful with recommendations about local attractions and information. Room was very nice, clean, a very unique vibe. Great experience. Was able to access tv for hdmi access to play our preferred movies.

It was beyond cool for our last night in Europe. I was traveling with my young adult sons and we were able to get an adjoining room, which was really special. Right on the corner.

Coffee was a little messy to make but that’s it!

The bed could have been a bit softer but that’s personal preference.
Great location to the train station, shopping and dining. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was superb. Rooms were very clean and well appointed with lighting and portable Bluetooth speaker. Lived the modern shower! Wished I stayed more than just one night.
