Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesProperty has very high guest rating , however the hotel, rooms have rather industrial look and design. No coffee maker in the room ( however it could be requested at the desk- we discovered that option upon checking out..). Rooms serves as bedroom and bathroom . Sink across shower with glass door , which provides no privacy while taking shower… I suspect that high rating is attributed most likely to downstairs restaurant with cosmopolitan atmosphere and night life. It attracts loots of young people , not only hotel guests.
Property is located 10 min walking distance from main train station and city center. Generally property was clean and customer service desk pleasant and helpful.

LatviaAbsence of the room-service. You can order at Neni-restaurant downstairs, but have to pick-up yourself. Given the elevator and need to apply card on the way, the self-pickup can be tricky and quite an exercise.

IrelandThe location and night time crowd attracted by the bar. It would be nice if the bar had a bit more separation from the rest of the lobby and lifts used by the hotel guests. It was not much of a trouble though!
Love the ambience, breakfast, quality throughout, staff are relaxed but take a great care of you. My second stay and I would be unlikely looking at another place to stay in Zurich for many trips to come

NetherlandsWhoever designed this hotel's interior, had a lot of fun doing it. Wherever you look there is something surprising, fun and quirky. The room was very big, with a huge shower space practically in the middle of the room, which I loved. There is a shower curtain on the outside, in case a person wants privacy. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't speak of that but the restaurant was always full so it must be good. I loved the atmosphere of the hotel and the friendliness of staff. Location is quite good as it is at walking distance to basically everything and surrounded with many restaurants and bars. It can be a little noisy at night cause apparently, the area is very popular with the young crowd. The only negative thing is the noise of the trains passing but windows are cleverly made with 3 insolation layers so once you close them, you can barely hear anything.

United StatesThe room was a bit warm, in fact our temperature dial on the wall was not functioning (it actually popped off the wall when we tried to adjust it!), however we did bring this to the staff's attention and they sent a fan up to our room which made it perfectly comfortable. The location is close to so many amazing bars, breweries, food halls, and upscale restaurants on the main street, however one street over is Zurich's "red light district," which some may want to be further from.
The room was very eclectic and fun! We loved all of the decorations and unique fixtures around the hotel and in the room. The whole hotel vibe is very sexy with the neon lights, art and more. The receptionist Sophie even upgraded our room to a larger room for free, and there was also a free mini bar in the room with a couple of beers, soda, and water. We also checked out the sauna area which was free to use and a very lovely accomodations.

IndiaBooking.com protects customer privacy by sharing a proxy email. This email is completely valid and all previous hotels I've booked with booking.com have been able to contact me just fine. However the receptionist insisted that I give them my email address, it felt like a data collection exercise They have a gym but it's a really small one with barely any weights, just a bench, treadmill and an indoor cycle. I went there in the morning at 8 and it smelled of cigarettes
The hotel is at a great location near the railway station and has lots of restaurants and bars close by. The rooms are beautiful and have been thoughtfully designed. I loved that there was a tote bag in the room that we can use for the day trips, great touch!

SwitzerlandThere was a filter coffee apparatus in the room, but we didn't like the coffee.
We booked a large room, and it was indeed spacious. We liked that the toilet was separate from the sink and shower area of the room, and we liked the non-carpeted flooring. The hotel is a short walk of about a kilometer from the Sihlpost exit of the main station. Although next to the rails, the hotel was quiet. There are several excellent restaurants nearby.

United Arab EmiratesPlease do not use this hotel if you are in travel with family. The place is chic but for adults only. Specially the decor as well as the surrounding area. We had a problem with the sink as it was clogged. The air conditioning did not work efficiently so we had to keep the window open which let to a lot of noise of the trains (until they ran out) and of the street which leads directly to the red light district. Late night there was lot of nuisance and yelling on the streets, this made us feel uncomfortable to move out in the evening.
The property is clean and modern. The staff is exceptional. Food served in the restaurant is decent but pricey as most of Zurich, but practically thats the only decent option in that area. Uber is the best option as the walk from the mainstation will take easily 15mins.
