Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandThe chair at the breakfast was pretty dirty. not only one chair. we looked around. most of the chair were the same. old stains was not cleaned.
It is a super cool hotel, kind of Amercian style. with special feeling of Arts and fancy stuff. the reception was friendly. 1st floor has this super old classic game machine, it was fun playing it. We did enjoyed the stay a lot. it was close to the main station and main commercial street.

SwitzerlandThere where no Bathrobes and Slippers at the room. When we asked the Housekeeping the just told us they don’t have. We had to ask twice if they could switch on the Sauna during regular operation time. They left the box for the in-room-dining 2 Days infront of our door. Housekeeping didn’t filled up the fridge or cleaned away the empty bottles. iThe reception double charged us for breakfast and tried to explain we are wrong after minutes of explaining they acknowledged the mistake.
Location, View, Breakfast, Style and Sauna are amazing.

SpainTo be offered a full price breakfast even no indifferent of needing to grab something to-go. This was excessive and lead me not able to eat until dinner because of a full day of meetings.
The rooms are spacious, the hotel is well located and clean.

United KingdomNoise! Both nights it felt like we were sleeping on a club's dancing floor. Heavy monotonous beats from their bar drilling through to the 3rd floor until 2am.. Also disappointed that housekeeping isn't a given considering the not-cheap room rate.
Big comfortable bedroom with quality facilities and beautiful design.

GuernseyCool hotel, great staff. Everyone that I saw during my stay went beyond polite & helpful, made me feel at home. The hotel itself is funky, has a great vibe, but also would be fine for families, business, friends. The location is nice, popular area but not too hectic and close to tram links to get you around the city. Special mention for Ole Ole bar across the road.

United KingdomYou have to beware that Zurich is an expensive City. But for example all the meals we had were quality. Plus,as it says on the tin the hotel on one side overlooks the railway.
Location was within easy walk to Zurich old town. The large room was very comfortable and clean. The staff on reception were very friendly and efficient and quick to sort out any problems. We took the opportunity to have the new Mini car which the hotel offered for a day and we drove to Lake Lucerne which was beautiful. Great team at the hotel creating a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. We went to a concert at the Hall venue which was only 20 minutes by train

SingaporeAlthough location was great, within walking distance from train station, it still took us at least 10 mins of dragging luggage through the rain (i know it's no one's fault for the bad weather). Even without luggage, you would feel the distance cause there's not much to see along the way to hotel.
Very lively, young, hipster vibe to the hotel. Size of room was great. Complimentary food and drinks from minibar, including beer! Hotel advised us to get the brunch for Sunday, which was a great idea, as we could go twice (for breakfast and then for lunch).

GermanyHowever, our biggest and most deceptive problem during this last time lies on another issue: their parking policy. I called several days in advance to let them know I was coming to the hotel with a car for business purposes, and wanted to reserve it for my whole stay, because I had to leave at around 08:00 in the morning every day with a lot of promotional material for an event I had to attend about 40 min by car from Zurich. They responded saying they were not able to reserve a space, that it was a first come, first served policy for all hotel guests - and behold their priorities- any Neni (restaurant) guests as well. My other option, they said, would be to park in a parking garage located approximately 1 km away from the hotel, as if this solution would be a normal one if you have to carry stuff around. After much discussion, they assured me that mostly there was always 1 or 2 spots available and that I should not really worry. I then travelled on the 1st day, and had at this time a smooth experience, finding a spot, a nice person at the check out who even issued prepaid parking tkts for my garage door release every day. On the 2nd day, to my surprise, there was a big party at the hotel and of course, no spot available. I had to wander around by myself for more than 40 min to find a spot to park. Now I understand someone who did not try to reserve a space nor is staying at the hotel couldn't have much say about a guarantee. but how dumb is that, that even though I tried to pay for a whole stay I was not allowed to bcs of hotel policies?on the next day they tried to mend the situation and find me a temp solution, which was a kind thing to do, but an exception to a very inefficient and unfair system they offer their guests. Ah: the cherry on the top was that, when I was checking out, they tried to charge me "by mistake" for the day I was not able to park with them.
I have been a long-time fan of this hotel. It is charming, it is lively, it is so centrally located. The rooms have a very modern decoration, and so does the whole ambiance. They have nice gratuities in the mini bar included in the fee (at least at the rate I was paying). Some of the staff can be really caring and offer a personalised service. Wonderful, even if very pricey, breakfast. The last time I have been there I have encountered several problems. First: the bar used to be a lively place, but now it turned almost into a "disco" kind of place, with young people going to the toilets and leaving nasty traces of their party time. Then we had a room right in front of the elevators, and because there is no protection from the elevator hall to the rooms, we heard every single conversation people were taking in front of our door. Another issue with the cleaning: they have a "special sustainability measure" now, which is, they won't clean your room unless you order it concretely at the reception. No sign at the door, no 3-day policy or anything as such: they won't clean until you're gone, unless you speak up. For the rates charged, i find it very opportunistic to do it this way. Also, I was promised I would still be able to take the polaroid pictures they used to offer in the rooms, but my room looked like a place from which most of decoration had been taken away. It looked kind of empty. Another structural thing to be noted: these rooms look pretty nice, however there is no real place for you to store your clothes properly. You have to use your imagination and hang it/store it wherever you can, but no designated place for it.
