The property needs updated as a whole. We could feel the springs through the mattress and the showers could be made larger and more accommodating. There’s no A/C so we would leave the balcony door open at night to let some cool air in. It would be nice having a coffee pot in the room but not necessary. Having said this, the good outweighed the not so good and we left feeling refreshed.

The breakfast was delicious. We missed pastries and hot foods but we really did enjoy the atmosphere. The area was beautiful and relaxing. You can experience real Swiss life here. The balcony off our bedroom was wonderful. The food at the restaurant was delicious! The rooms were clean! The staff was friendly!

Nothing in particular, but if I had to say, there were not enough electrical outlets.

The rooms and facilities were clean and pleasant. It was easy to access Grindelwald and Thun. The staff was kind.

They charged me a deposit of 698 CHF, but nothing has been received since I checked out (August 7). I called them to expedite the payment, but they did not fix the problem and asked me to contact booking.com instead.

They managed my booking of three rooms when I missed the due date of August 3; during my booking, those three rooms were booked because my phone calendar was confused. They understood the situation, and they solved it by asking me to stay with the after two days, from August 4 to August 5.

It's perfectly located if you have a car. It takes 25 minutes by car to Interlaken station from here. The route is very scenic. The hotel is located on a mountain top. You get a beautiful view of the Alps from the hotel room. The breakfast and the coffee were also very good. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. One can take a walk through a nearby forest located in the mountains.

Feels more like a ski lodge. Rooms are stuffy with no air circulation. Balcony had no view as they are on the side of the building.

The staff is friendly and thoughtful. We got whatever we required during our stay. The location is great! Very close to the Sigriswil panoramic bridge.

The restaurant for dinner was not fancy and the menu is limited and modest. For the location and the nature of this hotel, it is expected.

Average but sufficient breakfast. Location of the hotel is little far from main attractions, but since we have a car it was not bad. The view from the room is beautiful. It is a modest but very pleasant hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful.

However there is a second building for all the unfortunates guests. This unit certainly doesn't meet the building codes necessary for a 3 star hotel in Switzerland. Room height under 2,3m, no fire alarm/deterrents, no emergency exit lights and above all 0 noise insulation.

The main building is actually nice (although dated) and the view from the balcony is beautiful. The owner is helpful and friendly. The area is peaceful, very clean and relaxing. The bus stop is very close. Free parking spots near the hotel but I'm high demand.

As always with everything in Switzerland, price is on high side. Breakfast could be more extensive. Somewhat outdated though well maintained, functioning and clean.

A fan should have been provided as the room got very hot during the day.

The location is fantastic in quaint little town overlooking the lake. The breakfast was plentiful and had choice available.

The room do not have air conditioning or a fan maybe. Its soo hot.. my family felt like sleeping in an oven.
