More consideration should be given to help with the payment of the city tax, which either has to be paid in cash (it's not very convenient to have Swiss francs available if you are traveling through Europe and are only in Switzerland for a short time, and the conversion rates they use for Euros are not good. It would be much easier to add the city tax to the electronic charge when paying for the room. The restaurant if very convenient, but I plan to explore other options if I return to the city. The online check-in also seems very bureaucratic and gets in the way of the welcome to the hotel.

This is a very cosy and comfortable hotel in the old city. I've stayed there before and particularly like the decor of the rooms, which have murals of the city. The hotel is well-equipped and the staff were very helpful providing adapters to re-charge my phone. It's a friendly place to stay.

The room description stated there was a minibar in the room which was not the case, so we could not store groceries. Also, the bed mattresses were a bit too soft.

Nice hotel at the center of old town, located in a quiet alley. There is an elevator. Breakfast is good and varied. A/C is sufficient, though we did have to ask to turn it up.

Front desk staff were mostly polite and helpful except a middle-aged lady. She looked serious and upset all the time. Hospitality was not her thing, I guess.

Good location. Walking distance to train, tram and supermarket Coop. Plenty restaurants and shops nearby. A block away from the river. Decent breakfast with smoked salmon. Very good coffee. Staff in the breakfast room were nice, warm, polite, and helpful. Decor inside hotel is warm and welcoming.

There was nothing I disliked.

The hotel was characterful with lovely painted walls. The location was perfect. Despite being in a popular area it was quiet at night and I felt safe. Staff always smiled and greeted me and were very helpful- lending me an adapter for my laptop which I had forgotten to bring. Breakfast was included and had everything I wanted. I liked having an unlimited supply of cold drinks. I had a kettle in my room too. I also went to the restaurant each evening which was very good - especially the fondue.

It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room to keep water cold and fresh milk to make tea. However, they provided a kettle and longlife milk, which was adequate.

The location was very good. The hotel had everything needed - umbrella when it rained and able to purchase a train ticket from the desk that saved time on my journey to the airport. The room was very cute and the wall murals elevate the experience.

The only thing the room needs is a mini fridge to keep drinks cold, there is even a place for it to go.

Very nice recently renovated historic hotel with both the courtyard and street providing lovely views in an excellent part of Zurich. Facilities provided are very good and there is a lift to the upper levels. Attached popular restaurant with breakfast also. Good value for money from a Zurich perspective and would stay again.
