1. Location was good but with heavy luggage might be troublesome to be up n down from the main station and tram 2. The road on the way up to hotel is rocky 3. Shower water running too slow and it float 4. Saw the blanket dirt that might need to be improve in the housekeeping

Hotel Adler is an excellent hotel. The hotel staff are very polite and helpful. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were greeted with chocolates at the reception as well as in our room. Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable.

One night there was a big concert in the cafe down the street, so I could not open the window for the night due to noise, but it was not a big disaster for me. It would be nice to have some hot dishes for the breakfast.

Excellent hotel in a very heart of the old town. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Proposed us cookies, umbrellas for the rain. The room was warm and cozy, with all needed staff (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, knitting set, etc). Big bath, nice lighting. The restaurant of the hotel was a big, pleasant surprise. Tasty food, big variety of fondue and raclettes, children menu. The waiters were very nice. The buffet for the breakfast at the same restaurant was good: very fresh food, nice variety of sausages, cheeses, salmon, jams, yogurts, fruits and vegetables, etc.

Accessibility can be a problem. Had to get heavy suitcases up the entry way steps which were steep. Was a bit of an issue for my mom who has a bad knee. Room also didn't have an accessible shower. Had to step over a high sided tub into the shower. Water pressure was mediocre. Also need to be prepared for the scent of the cheese fondue every day.

Pretty little hotel and fantastic location in Old Town. So many shops, restaurants and bars near this hotel and right on the tram line. Loved the being able to have 3 adults in 1 room. Really nice breakfast in the mornings. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant dinner was amazing.

With some of the streets shut down because of Christmas markets it was a little difficult to get to.

I travel a lot to Zurich, about 5 times a year, every year since 2004 and I ALWAYS stay in Adler Hotel, which I ended up calling "My home in Zurich"!.. 😎👍 Convenient location near the main shopping centers, easy access from Zurich Airport, extremely clean rooms, public areas, facilities, comfortable beds and utilities, a great restaurant with fantastic variety of food and pleasant environment, all above topped by the excellent customer service and care from the Manager, the Front Desk, the cook himself, the waiters, the housekeepers and all the rest of the so polite and welcoming smiling personnel, that make my stay always UNFORGETABLE!... Will be back!.. 😎👍🙏👏🏻

The hotel was at the town center, near to great boutique shops and restaurants. The restaurant of the hotel at the first floor was phenomenal. The balcony was spacious and we sometimes ate in the balcony of the room (for take aways).

There is NO parking anywhere nearby for a car, very expensive and inconvenient! There was no help with the luggage. Street noise can be loud at times.

Nothing much, really. Though, it would be more appreciated if there was a ramp at the entry door.

Location was really great as you are in the Zürich Old Town. Also just a few minutes walk to the HB. Room was of the perfect size for a solo traveler like me. I didnt hear that much noise in the room even though my window was facing the busy streets. Room was clean. Breakfast was good, filling for the morning’s stroll. Coffee was definitely really good. Unfortunately, I did not get to try Swiss Chuchi’s famous fondue as I was on a solo trip. Would I stay here again? Yes!

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

The hotel is very well located in the old town of Zurich. It isn't too far from the main train station either. My room was clean and adequate for my four day stay there. The wifi was very reliable.

It was a little bit noisy at night from the restaurants below, but I still slept well.

The location is great, about a 10 minute walk from the main train station and in the heart of the old town. The staff was very friendly.

The air conditioning. although working, wasn't effective enough. In addition, there wasn't any power socket next to the bed (which is convenient for charging one's phone).

The hotel is ideally located on Niederdorfstrasse next to dozens of restaurants, bars and cafés. The room was spotless clean. The continental breakfast offered by the hotel is very good.

Noise in the night. Suggest to get a room facing another side instead of the one above the restaurant/reception.

Good location. Nice stay although the room size is smaller than the few we went before reaching Zurich. Think it's fair as it is in the city centre. Very near to the station and shopping streets.
