The restaurant does not open on Sunday morning (no place opened anyway). There is a kitchen so you can bring groceries and cook. Parking garage is a few blocks away.

The place makes you feel at home. I stayed at an apartment with 2 balconies looking at the lake. You can hear the soothing sounds of the wave. I love the quaint tiny alley leading up to the place. It's a very peaceful stay. You can also walk to the church on top of the hill from the hotel.

Morcote is a beautiful authentic village, easily and quickly accessible from Lugano by bus, boat or car. The boat stop is right in front of the hotel. The hotel is in the center of Morcote. The room is spacious, very clean, quiet, comfortable and well equipped, the welcome is warm, the restaurant is excellent.

Carrying Luggage to our room on the 3rd floor was the worst thing we experienced. You should provide LIFT !!! There was no coffee or milk facility - only Tea - you should provide at room this facility

Our room was on the 3rd floor walkup. There are some nicer rooms on second floor.

Beautiful setting. Idyllic. Magical. Can't wait to come back. Italian speaking part of Switzerland. Near Lugano which is the transportation hub. 5 room bed and breakfast. Quite romantic.

Nothing. Everything was wonderful. One suggestion is to add another towel bar or two in the bathroom.

The hotel is right on the lake, on the main street near most everything. It's beautiful and quaint. Our room had a lovely view and was very comfortable. There was a hot water kettle just outside our room and some assorted tea bags which were perfect for the evening. In the morning we were able to make our own coffee to have in our room. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. I highly recommend Al Battello.

The location is fantastic. Just in front of the lake with magnificent view from the rooms. Super clean and spacious room. The people were very accommodating and helped us with our late arrival. Will definitely come again!

The room was hot because the portable A/C unit was in the living room and didn't cool the bedroom. Temperatures were in the high 80s. It was nice to have some A/C available.

No coffee cups for the kettle in the foyer. No tourist card ready. Luckily, the ferry operator gave us the 20%discount.

Excellent location. The ferry is is directly opposite. Easy walk to the car park (400 metres), Information centre, park and church on the hill. Room bigger than we expected, but aircon unit is floor standing style and noisy. We turned it off at night and opened the window.

The curtains of our room were not very efficient and consequently the room became light relatively early. There is no elevator to our room. There is only one small supermarket in the area.

The location is excellent and the surroundings are fantastic. Our room was very quiet. We organised our own breakfast because we wanted to save money.

Nothing was wrong. Just be aware that if you have mobility issues carrying your luggage awkwardly up many steep little stairs, you may not want the same room that we had. But I think they also will help you with your luggage, so it probably works out fine anyway.

This was a charming place to stay in a really beautiful location. The staff were fantastic and extremely nice. The room was really pleasant and clean. I didn't realize we'd have a nice view of the lake. We wish we could have stayed longer.
