Didn’t like the bed being up against a wall on one side… difficult for me an elderly woman. Tight space for bed but bed very comfortable.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Lovely Italian restaurant where we had an excellent/delicious meal.

The WiFi was fast enough to stream PS5 from UK. Room was spacious, modern and cool. Minibar was great!

We had paid extra for a room with a balcony. Booking said it would be south facing overlooking the hotel garden. We found ourselves in an end room where the balcony was more like a terrace facing into a wilding garden with no view. Also balconies are small. You cant sit out. It was disappointing and I wouldn't have paid extra to upgrade in hindsight. Also this was the most expensive place we staying in Switzerland and there is also city tax. Not sure I would rebook just based on value for money.

Beautiful big modern hotel. Busy but with a good atmosphere. Spacious room, fridge stocked with complimentary water, juice and beer. Comfy bed and bathroom stocked with everything needed. Dressing table and mirror in the room. Good location with a tram to the old town and SBB station outside the door. Public transport is free with a Bern Card from the hotel. We didn't eat in the hotel but check in was very friendly and informative.

There was a window that was tucked in a weird corner and had a view to an alley. It didn't bother me since we didn't pay to have a view, just as an FYI. The shower has no walls just a curtain, so that water can get all over the bathroom, be careful not slipping.

Location was a short bus ride from the main train station. The bus stop is right across the street from the hotel. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The mini-bar items were complimentary.

The room was facing a depressing inside well, so basically there was no natural light and you couldn't really open the window.

The hotel is well situated, within a walking distance from the historical city centre. The room was spacious and well equipped, furniture very standard. For breakfast there was decent choice. It was perfect for one night stay, for more time it could be too "standard".

Fabulous staff and car parking. We upgraded to a room with a view, very reasonable. Bed was amazing. A breakfast to remember - superb. Excellent access to central Bern. All mini bar drinks were free - soft and beer. We loved the view from the roof and learning about the bees up there.

The hotel hosted a Mykonos-themed event on Saturday night (26.08.23) with lively music and a much more lively and high spirited crowd. We were given prior notice about the event. However, the noise kept waking me up during the night, making my sleep restless. I am unsure if this is a regular occurrence on Saturdays. Apart from that, I have no complaints about my stay. Maybe the hotel can distribute ear plugs for their guests in the future.

The reception team was great! Especially the gentleman I dealt with on the phone regarding the noise level above my room. Thank-you for offering us a different room. Sorry I didn’t get your name. I made a noise complaint on Sunday night around 10pm and he was lovely to deal with and made sure we had a restful night with sleep. The free drinks from the mini bar was a plus and the gym was great too.

The toiletries in the bathroom had not been refilled before our stay. I only discovered the shower gel was empty once in the shower :( There was quite a lot of scuffing on the walls of the bedroom which was a shame as apart from that, everything in the room seemed really new.

Wonderful breakfast options and the staff were so friendly at all times. The bedroom was very comfortable. The bar is amazing with a beautiful pond to sit next to with comfortable sofas.
