Single rooms are super small, beds are extremely small, there is no space. Small sink, small shower. Towels were not very clean. Building looks old and depressing

It’s generally a sport / students barracks transformed into hotel. At such price even the air conditioning is not available, which was surprising. A general feel is that you are not very welcome there, but you can stay if you want. The actual situation of rooms is not as the ones in pictures. The restaurant… they advertise as michelin grade one, yet it’s pricy and the quality is very far from Michelin. Burgers are very moderate, yet at high price.

View to the lake. The pool was good as well.

No air conditioning in the room just a loud fan? Very expensive. Breakfast was extra and was very basic with limited choice. Reception finished at 5pm then everything was self service with key card access to each area??? The hotel bar and restaurant closed on Sunday and was like a ghost town.

Amazing view from the room but make sure you opt for the lake view. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated.

I encountered a significant inconvenience during my stay at the hotel due to the broken Wifi, which resulted in not receiving room keys. Unfortunately, this led to being locked out of my room when I returned late in the evening. Considering the 240 CHF I paid for a one-night stay, it was disappointing to be unable to access my room and essentially staying out for the night. The following day, the hotel offered extended hours for checkout as a gesture of accommodation since we were away during the morning. While this was appreciated, I had expected some form of financial compensation as a gesture of goodwill considering the inconvenience I experienced. Adjusting the price of my breakfast would have been a reasonable solution, as it would have shown respect for the inconvenience caused.However, during the next day's breakfast, I was still required to pay 40 CHF for two people. Overall, I am disappointed with the lack of financial compensation or any adjustment made to address the inconvenience caused by the broken Wifi and subsequent issues with room access. I hope that the hotel can consider improving their customer service by providing appropriate compensation or accommodations in similar situations in the future.

I was planning on having dinner with my family of 4 at the restaurant, including my 2 adult sons. Then later on, planned on sharing a nice bottle of champagne with my husband, while we overlooked the lake on our patio. Unfortunately, upon check in, we learned the restaurant was closed for a wedding. Then I discovered our patio was overlooking the bar, where the wedding guests were. There was no privacy with us being so close. So we did not use our patio at all and that was the ONLY reason I chose that hotel. I feel we should have been offered the information at booking so I could have changed hotel reservations.

The hotel was situated above Lake Lucerne, and we had a patio overlooking it. The hotel location and room was great. But other events lead me to give my overall impression a lower score.

floor was cold, covered in dirt and bits of old mop with streaks of dirty mop water left behind. corridors felt like i was walking through a prison. poor breakfast choice. when i was checking in, staff were a little rude and the dining room smelt like vomit. promised an alps view but had a view of a co-op and car park

nice sized room with free wifi, a helpful sheet of prices and information. very comfortable bed. Tv had a fair choice of channels

-Poor lighting in room, always felt dim in different areas -Bedside lamps/lightning are too bright and cannot be moved/adjusted -At night got a bit warm, you have to open the door to make it colder(no A/C) -Awkward bathroom sink, small and the “shelf” keeps hitting your head as you wash your face. -A bit awkward drive to Lucerne, with car takes 30 minutes

-Views of the lake -Clean -interesting design of rooms (good and bad?) -Friendly staff -Walking distance from grocery store (Coop) -“Deck” where you can relax outside and enjoy view -Big parking garage

A socket in the bedroom fell apart , giving me an electric shock and causing sparks. I don't think the hotel took this seriously enough. There is no air conditioning in the rooms. After 5pm we had to enter the hotel through the downstairs garage, which was dark and dingy and not an impressive way to enter a so-called “decent” hotel. The hotel would benefit from refurbishment, the bathrooms are very dated.

Views across lake are stunning. Room was nice and large. Bed was very comfortable.
