Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe walk to and from it is along a road and some construction but in the future should be much nicer when they finish developing the area. Luckily we stayed during a weekend and did not hear any construction noise.
Brand new and modern interior design. Unit had washer and dryer which was a plus. It was comfortable for 3 adults to stay in, we were able to cook breakfast and enjoy hanging out in the apartment after skiing.

United StatesAndermatt Alpine Apartments is located about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the train station and during the winter months, this area may be slick. The host offered to set up transportation from the train station; we chose to walk. As you pass under Route 2, there are a set of steps to negotiate and an elevator next to the steps making it easier to carry your gear to/from the train station to the Ruess area where the Alpine Apartments are located. This area has some active construction nearby. Check-in was easy with clear instructions to our assigned apartment in a building with an elevator. Remember this is an alpine environment-walk carefully! Our apartment was spacious and well equipped. We were able to cook meals as we wanted and wash/dry our clothes in the apartment as needed. All the appliances are Swiss-made and prompts are in German with easy to use icons. We rented a Premium apartment and had access to an in-building spa that included showers, dry and wet saunas and a pool. Very relaxing after our on-mountain adventure days! We purchased items we need for our stay at a small grocery/retail store in the train station or in town at the Coop Supermarket. We used public transportation for our trip and didn't use the underground parking except for trash/recycle disposal as instructed at check-in. The underground parking is immense and appeared to connect several of the buildings in the Ruess area above. At the train station, there is a winter sports shop where we chose to have our skis tuned and stored for convenience. A quick web search will show there are many options for ski/snowboard rental/tuning in Andermatt. A winter sports gear storage room is on the ground floor of the Alpine Apartments. We took a couple of days off to enjoy the Andermatt village and history as well as shop and sample the local cuisine. Too many wonderful sights, sounds, tastes and hospitality in this area and across the resort to mention. You cannot go wrong!

SpainThe apartment doesn’t match the pictures, which was really disappointed. Specially the sitting/ dinning area it was tiny, however in all the pictures showcasing this type of apartment looks spacious and ample. Knowing they use different pictures for advertising, we would have chosen a different type of apartment to accommodate 3 people. In the reception, they confirmed they use different pictures they have in stock and that they might not match the reality. It is good to be aware of this before booking. The real aspect of the apartment can be found in pictures attached (superior apartment 1 room)
Clean, with a parking underneath (fee applies), with all the amenities and close to the gondola with access to the slopes. Overall we had a really pleasant stay

SwitzerlandThere's an ongoing construction in the area, so it might be a bit noisy and views are compromised.
It was our 3rd stay at Andermatt Alpine Apartments, first time for the whole week. They're located in the new Reuss development, 5 min walk to the train station and 10 min to Gütsch-Express ski lift. Our 1-bedroom apartment was spacious, fresh and modern, well-appointed with hi-end V-Zug appliances. Parking and ski room at level -2, reachable via lift. There are plenty of new exciting restaurants and shops in the area.

United StatesThe only thing was that the free Andermatt shuttle busses were not running at night, after 5:30-6pm, which made it uncomfortable to walk back and forth a few times between the village and the Andermatt Alpine Apartments, which are located approximately 1.5 km from the village center. I think more shuttles and free busses that run all day and night will greatly help the hospitality business in Andermatt in general. Oh, and the app MyBuxi does not work well...we waited one night more than 25 min for a 5min ride..., and the driver was not very polite...
Our apartment in the Yara building, on the top floor, was truly amazing! Huge, modern, clean, brand new , with beautiful views of the Alps from the big terrace!👌 And, it even had its own sauna on the second floor, which was awesome after a full day of skiing!⛷️👌 The staff at Alpine Apartments reception was also great - they were very responsive even before we got to Andermatt, through the whole booking process, and when we arrived there, they already had the apartment ready for us, which we greatly appreciated! They were very knowledgeable, spoke very good English and were always ready to help with a smile!😊 Thank you for this unforgettable stay in Andermatt!❄️

United StatesThat there was not enough time between check in and the Coop closing to do groceries on the first day. A service where you can select (and pay for) products and have them stuffed in the fridge ahead of check in would be great.

United KingdomNot the property’s fault but I read you could pay to use the pool at the Radisson Blu but it was unavailable every day / it relies on a limited of non-existent number of slots being available for outsiders. Andermatt definitely needs to build a pool / leisure centre like many alps towns have.
The property is in Andermatt Reus which is the new side of Andermatt. We loved the 2x 1 bed apartments we stayed in ( 3.3 and 3.4 in the Alpenrose building), they are the ones with the pink armchairs. We had everything we needed to cook in the apartment, enjoyed walking over into town to the Coop for fresh food. There is a bus every 15 minutes if you want to go over to Gemstock. Or you can walk the 5 minutes to go up the Gutsch Express for the main mountain which links up to Dieni > Sedrun > Disentis. We skied our way over to Disentis and caught the train back from there which was just a STUNNING train ride. The apartment is also perfectly located for winter walking routes along the river, and for cross country skiing at the Nordic Centre. Amazing skiing up the long valley and in loops around the Nordic centre. What else to tell you? It is a developing side of Andermatt but there are 3 or 4 restaurants including the Radisson Blu, a great ski shop, a cute coffee stall van outside. They are working hard to create a vibe. And once the next 5 start hotel is built there then I think the critical mass of people will be there to give the area full momentum.

SwitzerlandShops and restaurants are nice, but were very expensive and geared toward rich visitors. Despite of the high price, restaurants were booked days in advance. Parking was also very expensive.
No breakfast included. This was an apartment rental in the new area of the village. Close to walking trails and easy access to the parking garage. The view of the village and the mountains was great!

United StatesIt was difficult to ascertain the entrance to our building, no real signage indicating what doors to use. When we initially entered the building, it was apparently the entrance to access the parking garage. Could not get to our room thru that entrance. While the location was close to the train station, a shuttle service or bus service would have been nice especially when you first arrive and have luggage to carry.
The closeness to the train station. The fully stocked kitchen appliances.
