Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

centrally located. the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. the self check-in was easy and went seamless. we got our room decorated with Christmas ornaments. it was a very special touch and was appreciated by my child.

1- Nobody was there at the reception at our arrival 2- The code was not working to open the door. 3- The machine inside was unable to check me in. 4- The machine asked me 36 questions to complete the check in during 43 minutes. 5- Poor quality of room. 6- No tower rail in the bathroom. 7- Bathroom door was see-through and we were uncomfortable to use it. 8- Windows not soynd-proof. 9- Staff could not speak English or French they were from Russia. 10- No fridge in the room. 11- No Iron board.
Nothing really. It was a disaster to stay in that hotel.

A bit of noise from the street in the middle of the night but not a big deal. It could have been because of Friday night.
The room was big and clean. The breakfast was standard and the staff were very friendly. Location is very convvenient and bus stop is just around the corner.

Hotel is close to Zürich. Main train Station, nearby have a lot of Restaurant. Room is clean, We will stay again for next time.

Annoyed to find no one around to check us in, just a note on door. I received notification emails about my booking but they were all in German. I did write and ask for an English version but never got a response!!
Can't really say much. Booking was for 1 night only. No reception staff on duty when arrived. Luckily another guest was on the phone in reception and allowed us access as pin code didn't work.

Late check-in is done only on tablet that was only in German. I managed to work with it with a translator in other hand, but some people could have problems with this
Breakfasts are incredible. Rooms are cleaned well and each day.

Small but comfortable room. The hotel is close to the University of Bern and in walking distance to the city center. The personell was friendly, and the breakfast offers all one needs.

when we arrive, there was a used water bottle under one of the beds. then we found a hair in the shower and the worst thing was the temperature in the room at night. it was 33 degrees the whole night. we called the reception but they said they only had one single room

Not having evening time and night reception made some easy arrangements not easy... E.g. need for ironing service. The card nor the codes provided did not open hotel door aa instructed. Nor anyone answered the emergency doorbell. So, I got stuck behind the door twice. The rooms were super hot but no complains. Everyone knows about the AC and Switzerland plus the heatwaves in July.

Street parking limited to 1 hour, poor guidelines from staff; room was NOT the one shown in the pictures (no windows, straight under the roof) and we had 32C during the night.

My favorit T-Shirt disappeared in the room where I stayed. I reported it to the staff, called them also afterwards from home but they did not took care. very disappointing.

Checkin process and room size
Breakfast was good especially the chouce of Tea they got in the buffet. Location is good. Very near to bus stop and Bern train station.
