ItalyRooms are very small, if we stayed longer it would have been better to have an armchair to read, but we used the common living room where we were alone and could have tea and send some emails as needed. The bell of the church is quite noisy and frequent.
Just what you need for a week-end break, lovely staff who preempt your needs. The only hotel who tells you: if you want other pillows or sheets let us know! Or tells you to sign into the city's card to get discounts in the area and the free bus tickets - which are very practical. The food is also great, we had dinner and lunch with friends who loved it. The rooms all have a desk which was very convenient for my son who had lots of homework. Value for money exceptional in the area. The director is always trying to think of something more to make our stay better, she is exceptional.

We have driven by this hotel many times. It's an old chalet style - a character of a building. We loved our stay. The room was nice, the dinner we had was very good (as well as an excellent breakfast). And best of all, the next morning we just had to walk a short distance to start our hike. Parking is available (although it can be limited depending upon season etc.)

Nice classic old hotel! Rooms are clean! Breakfast was pretty good, not spectacular! In a beautiful location with amazing views of the church and mountains! Bus stop, just down the street!

What this hotel has going for it is the fabulous location, deep in the mountains, yet very accessible to Gstaad.

SwitzerlandTiny room for 2 people. Tremendous noise from alpine river roomside. This meant that to sleep it was necessary to keep the windows shut, which meant that the room was stuffy and too warm. Mediocre breakfast and horrible bitter coffee. No full fat hot milk.
