Weekends can get busy at the lake with people not staying at hotel but just entering for a day. My lake view room was not exactly a lake view unless I looked through the window. But then it was very quiet and in the end I was happy with the room and its very comportable bed.

The location is amazing. The SPA was a nice addition and we could relax over there for a few hours. My massage was one of the best I have had in my life. The food was very tasty at both breakfests and at dinners. I liked free coffee and tea facilities and apples available outside the rooms. All staff was very nice and friendly. In overall, we were very happy with our stay and could recommend it to anyone.

It wasn't super clear how to get into the nature park (and thus the hotel) from the parking lot. We probably missed it in an email, but had to call the front desk and ask.

It might not be a big deal, but there's no lift

Spa is really good and enjoying both of days. And the breakfast is amazing. The rooms are spacious and warm. The bathtub in the room is also spacious and great.

Bathroom is tiny, 1 person max at a time and the shower is even smaller...fine for me but water sprayed everywhere in spite of a flimsy shower curtain and me switching off the water when using the soap. A glass partition would make more sense.

Altogether lovely. We arrived late afternoon and settled in before having a small walk around the lake etc - absolutely beautiful. Then had drinks and dinner on the terrace - dinner was good. Our room was at the back so quiet and no lake view but views of trees. Very comfortable bed with duvets. Check out is from 8.00am only; we had to leave at 07.30 (b before breakfast which starts at 8) and had not paid for dinner the night before, but staff were incredibly helpful and sorted it out.

Breakfast ‘a la carte’ : flies annoyed us inside, during the breakfast, I wouldn’t post a photo, cause of good hotel, but admin need to solve this. The quality of dishes were good, but you need to always order and can’t take amount as you wish. Also they ask about tea/coffee and bring it first, before the meal, yo can order later - possible option, but you have to find waitress because nobody wouldn’t come to you. I also have doubts about the real friendliness of the staff. And be aware that from the parking lot you have to drag your suitcases to the hotel about 200 meters(not a problem if it’s not rain)

Location is perfect, room was clean and all necessary details were presented. SPA was great(dry sauna, wet sauna and jacuzzi. And you can made hot tea, drink water presented). Tourists near weren’t a problem.

The staff were very friendly and even prepared the room for our puppy. They had a dog bed, bowls and dog treats! The food was very good and the spa was nice as well.

You have to walk up and down while carrying heavy bags , but it was ok I wish they add at least a golf cart for helping the residents to carry them to the hotel

It wasn't clear in the listing that the lake is a tourist destination with tour buses coming in and out. Consequently every couple of hours a tour group of 20-30 people would come in and congregate with all the other individual visitors and families. This detracted from the hotel being peaceful and serene - especially when the tour groups would all come into the hotel to use the restrooms. Also the hotel is a trek from the parking lot. The hotel had to send a golf cart to fetch our luggage and my mother who is in her 80s as she would not have been able to make the walk with ease.

The room was nice. The lake and location were exceptionally beautiful. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was very good with lots of options.

We couldn't fault this place. The beds were so comfortable, the spa absolutely perfect and the dinner and breakfast two of the best meals we'd had in a long time. On top of that the staff were outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. It was raining heavily when we arrived so we were given complimentary teas before being taken to our room (as it was an outdoor route and that way we could wait until the rain had stopped). Robert and Ute on Reception and Peter in the Restaurant were amazing, though all the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. This place is a little slice of magical luxury and we highly recommend it as somewhere lovely to treat yourself - and it's not even that expensive by Swiss standards, considering what you get for your money. We only stayed one night but felt so well-looked after and relaxed that it felt like much longer.

Welcome of Hotel Guests: My first arrival in March was entirely pleasant: a warm welcome from the receptionist, who kindly guided me to my upgraded room. However, this time around, the experience was a bit different. It seems that with the start of the season, guests were directed to pass through the restaurant terrace to reach the reception. Unfortunately, this route exposed us to an encounter with a not-so-friendly waitress who seemed taken aback by our presence, offering neither a greeting nor assistance. Her demeanor was rather unpleasant and somewhat disconcerting. It was disappointing to encounter such a stark contrast to the warm and inviting atmosphere of the hotel. Perhaps the management could consider providing a separate path or entrance for hotel guests during peak times, to avoid such encounters. Nevertheless, the staff eventually assisted us after the waitress called for a receptionist. Despite this, the initial encounter left a sour taste lingering throughout our stay. Despite the initial hiccup, I must say that I still adore the magic of this place and the incredible gastronomic cuisine it offers. For future visits, I'd recommend timing your arrival for the evening, when the hustle and bustle of lake tourists have likely subsided. This ensures a more tranquil and enjoyable experience. Overall, despite the minor inconvenience, I'm already looking forward to returning here again. The allure of this place is undeniable, and I can't wait to indulge in its delights once more.

Room was small and a bit dark, although overlooking the lake from a small window (on the top floor). Would have preferred a regular one but bigger and normal shape - although we didn’t ask to change I admit as it was supposed to be an upgrade. Small details like no trash bin in the room and no cleaning during our 1,5 day stay still couldn’t spoil the overall very good impression!

The hotel is very special because of its location next to the amazing lake! Very good food in the restaurant, friendly and helpful personnel. Beautiful lobby and restaurant overlooking the lake.
