I wish the powerpoint was closer to the bed so I had somewhere to plug in my phone next to me. Also wish there was more than one pillow, even if it's an extra in the closet. Had to ask for another, which they supplied, but I could tell it was an inconvenience as 'housekeeping had gone home'.

Breakfast was simple but sufficient and good value for the price. Breakfast restaurant was homely and nicely decorated. I was alone, so had a single room and it had everything I needed. Hotel restaurant across the road was convenient. Right on the edge of the lake so it was a nice location.

It doesn’t have air conditioning and in warm months you will have to open the windows and hope for a good breeze during the night and that no bugs come in while you sleep, otherwise you will sleep in a warm room.

It look really traditional Swiss architecture and right across the street from the lake.

Perhaps updating the bathroom ( the tub is a little high for my short friends) or furnitures. The constant ringing of the church bell.

No lift. They have stairs and we had to carry our luggage. The location is a bit far to walk from Brienz main station but closer to Brienz West station. But it was manageable as there is a bus and most trains from interlaken stop at brienz West.

We were 2 adults 2 kids in a family room which was so convenient with 4 beds in 2 separate rooms and a small living area. It was very spacious. Its is just on the lake, Beautiful views from the small balcony and windows. Breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful, they drove us with our luggage to the train station at check-in and check out.

One room faces main street with some traffic during the night, so not ideal for noise sensitive people.

Very friendly personnel, great view of lake from balcony. Nice and bright apartment (2 bedrooms with living room). Safe neighbor hood, downtown is within walking distance.

Had to wait for someone to give us coffee in the mornings. The server on the one day was moody and rude. Everyone else was outstanding.

The mattresses were a bit old and uncomfortable. The bathroom door didn’t close. The bed was very squeaky.

Close to the water, nice room with balcony and very friendly staff. There is a restaurant across the street which is open late and was comfortable.

The sound of the ventilation in bathroom is quite loud. It is not able to turn it off until it is off automatically

i can only comment on our room which was chalet style. We are both tall and when stood upright we almost reach the ceiling...thats not a bother, however, we heard every small movement from the room above us. The rooms can get quite warm too... but not a deal breaker!!

Excellent breakfast, if you come away from breakfast dissatisfied that's a 'you' problem!! The location is stunning and the part of the hotel we stayed in was across the road from the lake where you could spend hours in peaceful tranquility looking at the mountains and lake!! A great base for touring. Parking could be an issue during busy periods, however we had no issues while we were there.

1. We were offered a different apartment than the one in the pictures. 2. The noise of cars on the road could be heard in one of the bedrooms and it was noisy. 3. There was a restaurant under the balcony and it was noisy at meal times. 4. There were lots of flies on the breakfast food.

Great location, parking and fantastic free breakfast. Great dinner options in a very cozy rustic dinning room. Make reservations for best lake view tables.
