Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesHonestly, the bungalow had everything we needed: Towels, a bathroom with plenty of space to hang wet towels. Kitchen with the necessary utensils, a drying rack with clothes pins, a dustpan and broom. We did have to bring our own shampoo / soap but we expected that at a campground.
We (family of four with kids aged 12 and 15) loved Camping Jungfrau. We stayed in a bungalow so we had two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen / living area. Photos and diagram were as advertised. (I did not post photos of the 2nd bedroom and living/ kitchen area bc we had already made ourselves at home there.) We ate dinner on our porch every night with a fantastic view of the waterfall. Price is pretty standard for Europe (and very fair for Switzerland). The bungalow had everything, and there was a laundry room and a small store nearby. Also, the area is very quiet at night. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

United KingdomI had to share a toilet and shower I haven’t seen it cleaned many often as the people use it a lot. maybe the only thing that need to be improved is to make the place even better.😍
The view of this place... Omg, I'm sort of for words it was so unreal I could see the waterfall from my window first thing in the morning, and the staff was very helpful. if I ever go back to Switzerland, I would definitely stay in this place. I miss this place already. 😭

United StatesCamping Jungfrau was a fun and lively place to stay at that gave us the glamping experience. I admit, when booking I didn't realize there was also tent and RV camping as the pictures looked like just little cabins. Everything was much closer together as well and very busy/crowded in the middle of summer. Our fox cabin was cute and enough room for two people. It was nice to be able to cook in the communal kitchen and then eat our food on the little patio area in front of our cabin.

United KingdomKitchen equipment needs a bit of an upgrade, hobs were slow and there was only 1 kettle and was always a queue for it.
Great location set in stunning scenery. Family hut met our needs. Well stocked shop had everything you would need and restaurant was delicious. We were lucky enough to be there for the Folklore evening which was amazing.

United KingdomJust be aware that the hot water is not thermostatted. I accidentally knocked the tap in the shower and almost got a scald.
Our chalet gave us the ability to prepare our own meals and save some money. All bedding and towels were provided and there was lashings of hot water. We had a four ring gas hob, microwave, toaster and fridge. We had a double bedroom and bunk room enabling us to have our own space. The shop had great breads and rolls fresh every morning and a good selection of fresh fruits, veg, cheeses and cold meats plus frozen goods and refreshments. Their restaurant and service was great too. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Went to sleep every night with just the sound of the waterfall and stream nearby.

United StatesJust be aware it's a bit of a walk from the train station with luggage in tow and our rooms were upstairs in the lodge area so there were additional stairs. Single shower in the lodge was often in use so needed to use the showers downstairs and outside -- but those were very clean and with good water pressure, etc. Would help to extend check-in hours slightly. We arrived at 6:30pm and needed to call the groundskeeper (which we knew) but it took him about 10 or 15 minutes since he was busy with other items.
The camping store was well stocked and access to the community kitchen and fridge was wonderful. Good WiFi. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to store our luggage and food after checkout while we explored a couple of the waterfalls (do be warned, though, they close the reception/camping store from noon to 2:30 so you don't have access to your luggage during that time). Being at the far end of town was nice -- a couple nights a week there's an Asian food cart at the campground if you don't want to cook or walk back to town.
