We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beds were placed in a very uncommon manner wherein the partner sleeping on side can’t get up if required without disturbing the other partner. Very uncomfortable. Washbasin was in the bedroom & not in the bathroom!! No wardrobe. Rooms were very small. Staff was helpful.

Excellent location! The hotel is centrally located in the City Centre. The hotel was very reliable in providing my wife and I the extra towels we requested, along with the feather-free pillows (my wife is allergic to feathered pillows). We greatly appreciated it!

CitizenM in Zurich is off Bahnofstrasse, so the location is as good as it gets! The lobby space was welcoming and cosy.

Singapore- Rooms are anything but king. - We opted for cleaning everyday. The rooms were not cleaned only the towels were replaced. - Mixed experience with the staff. One personnel offered the children complimentary breakfast one day, and we were charged for the complimentary meal the next day. I don't mind paying for what we eat and use. - I forgot to mention to the staff that the air conditioner was not functioning correctly. At 18 deg for the room size, we were sweating.

SwitzerlandRooms are unusually small for a 4-star hotel. The double bed is fitted in front of the window, with the person sleeping on the window side having to crawl over the other one when in or out of the bed. No coffee maker in the room. Sink is right in front of the bed, thus no acoustic / light separation from bed.
This is a modern hotel with automated check-in, control of lights / curtains / air condition by means of iPad etc. Quick to check in and out.

ItalyRooms at Citizen M hotels are always quite compact as part of their design and format. But comfortable and well organized.
Great design location in the centre of Zurich, very well connected by tram to the rest of the city by tram, with stop just in front of the hotel. Nice atmosphere with Design furniture and great service from the staff at reception process, even if all can be done automatically as all Citizen M hotels, and at the bar for all day service & breakfast.
