I would definitely make a point on making clear there is no lobby/lounge/restaurant outside of the open hours - upon booking I saw some pictures so directly assumed they would be available at all times, and in fact it's more of a bed&breakfast(&dinner) situation. Not bad at all, the food offered was also amazing, just not having the option for a lounge didn't serve the trip with my friends this particular time, I would still highly recommend.

It's a great family location, absolutely amazing for hopping on the Dieni lift and get skiing without any hassle. For the more adventurous the train going toward Oberalp, Andermatt and it's a picturesque ride. The owners were great and helped us with all that we needed. Place is beautiful, clean, quiet, perfect for that mountain relaxation holiday!

Room was slightly dated but the breakfast area is cozy. For a short ski trip this was however an excellent choice. I had expected at the original price for the room much more of the hotel, so it was a slight disappointment at first, but anyway, the breakfast will made all up, overall a good choice!

We had booked for a family room. Which apparently was listed incorrectly as available due to some technical glitch. We were given 2 near by double rooms instead. One of these rooms was just great! But the other one had this smell..

Location! View was breathtaking! Breakfast options were less but good. We had done last minute booking and reached the hotel pretty late at night. Checkin was still smooth and the person behind reception was helpful.

The restaurant was closed but the receptionist recommended a very nice restaurant in the next village, within walking distance. Great experience.

This was a last minute find. The hotel is located in the middle of the village and has great views over the valley. For us it was just an overnight stop and we felt great.

We liked everything. Only minor thing, of the eleven Swiss hotels booked for this trip, this was the most expensive. We only booked this one as we needed to be in this location, however, not being able to fault the product you purchased means you cannot really argue the price.

Easy to find with lots of free parking. Really nice room, good size with loads of storage space, both in the bedroom and bathroom. Very nicely decorated, very clean and felt homely. Loved the balcony and the fact we had two chairs and a table (nearly every other hotel this trip has given us only one chair!). Amazing mountain views and peaceful location, so we slept really well. Breakfast was great, I enjoyed a perfectly cooked boiled egg with tasty, crunchy fresh bread. The first day we had some amazing strawberry and peach yoghurts in little pots, sadly these were missing the following day, and the replacement yoghurt wasn't half as nice. Very minor note, no fresh fruit which we personally enjoy at breakfast, but there was plenty of choice to fill the gap.

Nothing to dislike

Great room, great location, loads of available parking perfect for our vehicle. We knew in advance that the restaurant was closed on the night of our stay, and looked after our selves very happily with a trip to the local shops. Excellent host and super communication throughout. Breakfast was spot on. Free wi-fi worked well.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and on the second night we ate at the hotel's restaurant. It was a mistake. We chose the dishes called Spider steak from the list. The dish included fried potatoes and vegetables, as well as a beef steak. The steak was inferior in quality, stringy and partly inedible, we thought the price was unreasonable at 45 CHF/portion. The room was as expected, and the staff was friendly, the breakfast was also good.

When we arrived it was cold and wet, since you have to cross a mountain te get to the hotel from the Gotthard pass we had some light snow something we didn't expect in October. The road towards the hotel is under good weather conditions stunning!

Clean and all you would expect from this type of hotel, the staff was very friendly, diner in the evening was excellent so was breakfast.

Wish the sauna in the bathroom wasn't converted into a closet hahaha! The rooms are super close to each other so you may hear people talking (really just mumbling) but it was no biggy.

We stayed in the apartment with 3 bedrooms, however, only two of the bedrooms were unlocked. Which was fine since it was the four of us. We appreciated the 1.5 bath and small kitchen area! There's also a fondu and raclette set, if you want to stay in and cook...which we ended up doing for 2 out the 3 nights we stayed. The hotel is close to the train stop and ski lift, about a 5min walk? The breakfast in the morning was lovely. We would def stay again.
